Derrick started DJing in the early 90's at local clubs like "Rub a Dub" and "Turtle soup" playing house and hip hop records from his extensive vinyl collection. 
Once he had mastered the art of pleasing the crowd, he entered and won a DJ competition in Mixmag magazine to play at "Cream" in Liverpool, along side Paul Bleasdale, Seb Fontaine, John Kelly, DJ Dan and Dean Wilson, and he rocked the Annex room with the highlight being the whole room singing along to "Together in electric dreams" 
He was then called up by Kiss FM to be a resident at various clubs up and down the country
He now produces electronic music under the name of "Acid House Casual+y.

 A vinyl junkie from a very early age, he started buying disco 7s in the late 70s but really caught the bug in the early 90s whilst at Uni in Liverpool where he played at Cream & various nights at the Student Union & across the city. After moving to Brighton in 1995 he became a regular on the free party scene and has played in various bars & clubs like audio, the loft, the ocean rooms. His mixes on Soundcloud have seen him develop a steady international following which have led to gigs in far flung places like St Petersburg, Zurich, Melbourne, Madrid & the Rocket festival in Spain.
