...that realisation was simple. I was not broken, I was scarred and wounded. The sudden intense abysmal "drops" - feelings of worthlessness and despair, were not me, they were reactions to triggers. Now I had a choice - live with this, or try to heal the wounds and sooth the scars. I had no idea how to heal...even where to start....

Some superfine tracks in this week's set - starting with one which is not brand new, but part of a Global Underground compilation - the incredibly emotive "Let Me Out by Einmusik and Diana Miro - absdolutely love this track. I've been DJing off and on since the 80s, got serious during covid and started to record and post weekly sets. I've an odd format - I pick 16 new tracks each week, mostly from ZipDJ, and put them together to make a set, I don't pick tracks which go together, just what I really like. Making them flow is often a real challenge. I love sharing the music I love.

My set descriptions are often about my journey of healing.

A pivotal relocation to the UK in 2010 marked the discovery of a new realm of sound—underground house music.
