UPDATED!  I did not quite explain all I meant about forgivenes.

To be clear, what I write is based on my own experience, my own truth. These words are shared as part of my healing journey, and I would never suggest or imply they are true for others. Find your truth and live it.

Forgiving is a powerful step towards being whole, it is not about accepting or forgetting, but letting go. Forgiveness releases the hold that pain, anger, or resentment has over you. Let's say you are bitten by a venomous snake - would you choose to chase the snake, to ask why it bit you, make it accept blame  for having poisoned you or would you treat the wound and poison and heal? Forgiveness is not absolution, it does not excuse the harm or erase the wound, it is remembering without rage, being able to move forward without the weight of resentment. A reminder that my way of seeing and feeling things is quite different from others, for me anger is not a phase of healing, as  my gentle soul seeks harmony before strife.

A couple of tracks in this week's set to point out - a Miss Monique track - not sure I've ever played anything by her, this one is pretty mellow, and a cover of Billy Idol's Rebel Yell from my friends Marksman and TJ Lawton - what a blast! 2025.09.27 Forgiving Robot

I've been DJing off and on since the 80s, got serious during covid and started to record and post weekly sets. I've an odd format - I pick 16 new tracks each week, mostly from ZipDJ, and put them together to make a set, I don't pick tracks which go together, just what I really like. Making them flow is often a real challenge. I love sharing the music I love.

Captivating the underground house scene, this DJ is a master at weaving together 16 fresh tracks of underground house each week, delivering a live set that's recorded and shared with the world on SoundCloud. 

A true aficionado of the genre, his mixes explore the depths of underground house, including progressive, deep, tech, and minimal styles. Their signature style can be described as a spacey, trippy, and flowing journey that effortlessly spans various subgenres, taking listeners on a sonic odyssey that transcends the mere concept of a setlist.

The roots of this sound are deep and nourishing, sprouting from a childhood home reverberating with the sounds of big band, jazz, showtunes, classical, and the pop and rock anthems of the 1960s. This diverse musical upbringing birthed an eclectic taste in the young DJ, who, as a teenager, was magnetically drawn to the burgeoning world of electronic music.
