Another new remix, this time for Metachemicals new label - Western Bloc. 

Loved remixing this track, it was quite a challenge but very rewarding. The original track is a Drum N Bass tune and my funky Psy style seemed to compliment the samples well.

I would love to know what anyone thinks. Its certainly one of my favourite remixes that I have done :) Out now by the way ;)

So this is my first ever triplet tune, and my first ever collaboration with psybreaks rising star Bad Tango! We had a lot of fun making this. I found it interesting how by choosing a different timing grid, fresh ideas flowed much more easily than they sometimes do when using the same 4x4 grid all the time. It inspired me to start some other projects with different timing grids, and I look forward to sharing those in future. For now, I hope you enjoy this! Break The System 2012 Psy Breakz Mix

By now you will have heard me raving on about Grouch on facebook. For me, and many others, he is one of the true masters of psychedelic music, and a hugely inspiring character! I got to spend a couple of days with him when I was in Australia earlier this year, and we played around on our laptops, producing as many cool sounds as we could in the time we had. After this, we went home and each produced a track using those sounds as the basis. This is my version, and it will be coming out on Broken Robot in December 2012. Grouch's version will be coming out sometime in 2013, i'll keep you posted!

Sound Engineer by day, producer by night, Roboteknic has developed his own unique style and sound by adopting influences across a broad spectrum of music including Psy-Trance, Techno, Trance and Breaks to name a few. It was in a busy UK recording studio where Roboteknic learned his mixing and mastering skills and he now applies these skills to his own productions.
