An uplifting melodic journey with rich arps and soaring synths, sure to bring a smile to your face. It kinda has a Deadmau5 vibe which, surely can't be a bad thing?

Hot on the heels of our last EP we're delighted to present our latest release. Something a bit different, but still very much representing the psybreaks sound, Flow is a 2 track EP featuring a new track by us and a remix by the super talented Incredible Science.

Our original is first up. Flow opens with an ethereal guitar riff and slowly builds as psychedelic sounds interlace with acoustic instruments, while a pumping bassline underpins the groove. It's still dancefloor friendly psybreaks but showcases a softer side to the Monk3ylogic style.

The second track on the release is a remix by a new psybreaks artist that we're really excited to be working with having been a big fan of the music he's released over the last year!

Incredible Science is a music project of Okan Çalışkan. He announced his arrival on the scene in style with his debut release coming on the mighty Nano Records in 2020, aftering winning a remix contest for Killerwatts (Avalon & Tristan). Then in 2021 he released his first album, Sense Of Being, on Mystic Sound Records.

Incredible Science creates worlds that are full of unearthly interactions and a deep sense of psychedelic flow. You can hear this as soon as you listen to the remix, with swirling effects and new elements backed up by crisp production, reinterpreting our original into something absolutely unique, but still a fusion of psytrance and breaks.

Makossa & Megablast - Kunuaka Remixes Part 1

To mark the 15th anniversary of Makossa & Megablast’s seminal Kunuaka release. Stripped Down have enlisted modern greats Reboot, Sobek and Claudio Ricci to reinterpret key tracks.

Kunuaka was an all-time classic album on G-Stone Recordings that fused dub, house and electro across two slabs of vinyl. It took you on a real trip through many different sounds and styles and two originals are included here next to the remixes, which will be followed later in 2019 by a second remix package.

First to go is Reboot, a long-time advocate of stripped down grooves on labels like Cadenza and Get Physical. His eight-minute masterpiece is a warm, underlapping house cut with sub bass and loose synths getting under your skin.

Moblack and Monaberry artist Sobek goes for something superbly slow burning, layering up the poignant synths and drums into something that is poised and grandiose.

Next up, Ibizan based label boss Claudio Ricci is in fine form as he reworks ‘Galaxy 82’ into an upbeat bit of classy techno with serene Detroit pad work and thoughtful keys taking you into the future.

Last of all come the two still vital originals. ‘Like A Rocket’ feat. Capitol A is groovy, late night house with rapped vocals and a musical bassline that wriggles its way into your affections, and ‘Galaxy 82’ is a wonderfully woozy adventure through the cosmos with spacey pads and floating grooves.

This is a fantastic package that mixes the old with the new and turns out great results.

Lovely deep psychedelic breaks, with a twisted atmosphere, great build and cool vox - trippy!

New to the label, and rising Hungarian producer Omech gives a glorious remix.
A deeper outing with a refined groove. Super bass and synthlines, and would definetley appeal to the more -psytrance fans!

Mild-mannered (or is that ill-mannered?) Sound Engineer by day, producer by night, Roboteknic has developed his own unique style and sound by adopting influences across a broad spectrum of music including Psy-Trance, Techno, Trance and Breaks to name a few. It was in a busy UK recording studio where Roboteknic learned his mixing and mastering skills and he now applies these skills to his own productions.

Nobbing on the foward motion of breakbeats you begin to understand Tiggnacious beginnings of future records many of which were born of San Francisco and surrounding cities...Hardkiss Bros..Wicked Crew....Hawke...then deeper yet to enjoy Rabbit in the Moon....Bringing Drum and Bass into the fold, my favorite, we revert into oblivion minding the the sacred past with respect to old school cats of Rap funky legends Eric B. and Rakim{Paid in Full} and other suprises to encounter....Keep the BASS UP....And get Tiggitty in your Brain......Sorry for the breaks in the mix I need to polish those out and will someday.....all mixes recorded live, no practice of set, just a lot of collecting listening, and recently in the last 9 months understanding a bit about the Denon DJ Prime 4....Having fun...Dreaming in Sounds.... Wishing Out Sonic Waves Blended in a Surreal Imagination..... Tiggination Salute!
