Kwah aka Rory Gordziejko is a psybreaks producer/DJ from Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire. He has had releases on Broken Robot Records, RUNE Recordings, VIM Records, Warped Recordings, In Bloom Recordings, Divergence, 96KHz and Scarcity. Rory currently has music forthcoming on Broken Robot. 

Rory has been producing for 7 years and started his Kwah project 3 years ago. During the last 3 years he has played at many nights across the North including Sunrise, Soma Sonic and Illuminaughty whilst releasing quality originals and remixes on the above labels. 

Kwah exploded onto the ever-growing psybreaks/tech-funk scene in 2012 with the delicious squelchfest 'Proton Perspective' (released on RUNE Recordings) and wicked remixes for Forufreezer, Bad Taste, Resistor M_Spark, Max Hertzz, Andy Faze and Hedflux & Neurodriver soon followed. These led to further development on his original, funky and juicy psybreaks sound on tracks such as 'Hypnotoad' and his debut Broken Robot release, the epic 'Sentient Technology' EP. 

Rory has lots planned for 2014 and is currently working on about an albums worth of material which should be ready in the next few months. He also has another track forthcoming on Broken Robot. The best way to hear this new music is to catch one of Rory's sets at an event, as he plans on heavily featuring the new stuff live! 

With support from fellow psybreakers Bad Tango, Monk3ylogic, Z4thoichi, Dr Fish, MartOpetEr, Motna, Snook and Broken Eye, Kwah's distinctive squelchy, driving sound has been heard on many dancefloors worldwide. I had a chance to work on a remix for such big name as Far Too Loud for a remix competition. Being a big fan of breaks I decided to make my remix sound a little different than the original track (or most of the submissions for that matter). The outcome is a set of deep basslines with psy and some acid elements. Enjoy :)

‚....Even Though You‘re With Another Girl‘ is the amazing second single to be taken from Trentemøller‘s stunning new album ‚Into The Great Wide Yonder‘. After the huge reaction to the beautiful longplayer, which mixes classic Trentemøller production mastery with more of an analogue, song based, indie-feel, it’s time to carry on with this intriguing set of remixes.

Firstly the original version of ‚... Even Though You‘re With Another Girl‘ chimes and drifts across. This hauntingly moving love song features spine-tingling vocals by Josephine Philip, and could perhaps be Trentemøller‘s most touching recording yet. Josphine is the singer &amp; keyboard player in the new promising Copenhagen based indie rock band Darkness Falls. Apart from that Josephine joined Trentemøller on the spectacular liveshow at Roskilde last year.

Mikael Simpson‘s version, which simply allows pianos, strings and tape overdubs to bring out the beauty in the vocal. Simpson is one of Denmarks most popular singer/songwriters and already contributed a very special version of “Moan” from Trentemøller’s debut “The Last Resort” for which he also wrote the lyrics. Mikael also joins Trentemøller Live in Concert and we’re looking forward to see him on the upcoming tourdates in October. 

Further remixes by Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Pantha Du Prince. The Kollektive‘s half of the record slaps a heavy dose of deep, dark funk into the mix, with this ingenious lo-slung version. Post-minimal-punk electronic drums meet warbling synths and reduced, subliminal use of the vocals in a delicate and stylish mixture of pop-meets-deepest-electronica.

Dial‘s man of the hour Pantha Du Prince creates a typically high-end remix based on his trademark twinkling melodies and warmly grooving understated beats. The Dub version twists and turns with unpredictable laid-back intensity as a rousing chorus of strings and harmonic elements fuse under dubbed out vocal elements.

Also included as digital bonus track is a rare 'Alternative Instrumental' version by Trentemøller himself!

Slamboree is a 10-piece live band with a Smörgåsbord of circus performers, daredevils & entertainers. We take each show as it comes, assembling a different crew from our collective for each show and every gig is very different to the last.

Musically we fuse bass-driven beats with live orchestra, guitars, percussion, loops, visuals, brass, accordian, pyrotechnics & circus. The genres bounce around breakbeat, dubstep, drum & bass, dub & electro swing fused with balkan, folk, and 'gypsy' flavours... all original & all live.

Within this very first year together we've been fortunate enough to perform our live shows at some amazing places such as Glastonbury Festival, Electric Picnic, Boomtown, Shambala, Beatherder, Kendal Calling and the River Thames in London. Sound Engineer by day, producer by night, Roboteknic has developed his own unique style and sound by adopting influences across a broad spectrum of music including Psy-Trance, Techno, Trance and Breaks to name a few. It was in a busy UK recording studio where Roboteknic learned his mixing and mastering skills and he now applies these skills to his own productions.
