My most recent song (3rd of 3) written mid to late January. I had the title with a different tune, but it didn't fit. This is not a song as such, more the audio description of a feeling. I dedicate this to the memory of Mark Keds. Some of the words were written after an conversation with Jerome following Mark's passing.

The Hurtful Kind (live)(Lockdown Demos #8)

I have had this guitar melody for ages in my head but I was reading an Anne Rice novel and I just was able to envision it in a cinematic version with symphony and percussion gradually builds up. In my vision it would be the spell of seduction a vampire would use to lure someone that they wouldn't see as prey, but an eternal partner. As the songs keeps building up, it symbolizes the moment of the dark gift has been transferred.
