I'm a just a home recorder who's trying to get the last 12+ years worth of songs I've been kicking about into some kind of comprehensible demo form before I die.  

Music shaped by mood and story. I come from the world of painting and printmaking, where pattern and layering shape everything I do. Songwriting grew from the same instinct to create mood, color, and story. With SimplePeace, I explore music the way I approach art: intuitively, playfully, and with a love for small honest moments.
