I wrote this song after an in-depth conversation with my mother who spent years searching for her mother.  It's in 7/8; perhaps reflecting the irregularity of relationships.

This song was written by Linda Pieters & myself. I wrote the music and Linda wrote the lyrics. It's a beautiful song that she wrote for her daughter, it took me a week to write the music for it, she has posted a rendition of it on her SoundCloud channel under Melinda Hannsen, check it out, she's a great Country singer!  I remixed it and enhanced the music a bit with my instrumental track. The video took me about a couple of weeks to produce and edit together and I think it enhances the song really well.
