PREMIERE: T-Sounds - Lean On Me

Let’s take things back to where they belong, where it all began, where it sounds and feels best… Let’s take things ‘Back To The Club’. 
Cue the return of Argentinian house gangster Ezequiel G. First spotted on Robsoul last year with the bumping ‘Badboy’ EP, he’s back packing five slabs of premium house heat. 
‘Back To The Club’ says it all. Lean, mean and straight to point; this one is all about those classic motifs that have characterised our beloved culture since day one. Big filtered stabs, even bigger beats and an empowering spoken vocal reminding us what it’s all about. Setting the levels, setting the tone, ‘Back To The Club’ is backed up by nonstop heat. 
Get your funk fixed on the wonderfully slinky bassline of ‘Bring The House Down’, scratch those old school itches on addictive, hooky cuts like ‘Room’ and ‘Maestros’ then tear the floor to pieces with ‘Break The Rules’. You got the tools, the club is open… What you gonna do?

Welcome back all, to a brand new episode of PlayForHouse. After our Free Download Series it's time to move on. This mixtape is filled with heavy house bangers, perfect for the summer. We dug deep to search for tracks that you need to hear in our podcast series. 

August 5th we start with our very first EP release, by label owner and founder Timberr. Waiting EP will be a 4 track EP filled with deep groovy sounds and some nice vocals to give you that house feeling. One of the 4 tracks will be premiered by House Six on Youtube on July 22th.

Understated but never underplayed: Vincent Caira is back on the Robsoul dials with four straight-up deep ones for those occasions when you need to completely lose yourself, and your dancefloor, in the moment. 
Filtered with finesse, subtle chord changes and an overarching jazz aesthetic, the ‘Closer EP’ lives up to its name in every intimate, confident and sensual way. Beats to wriggle and writhe to, Vincent’s years of studio craft, releasing on labels such as Spacedisco and Simma Black can be felt in each groove as he cooks with minimal ingredients to create maximum emotions. From the undulating bass rolls and bumping beats of opener ‘Like That’, to the looser limbed drums and sweet funky swing of ‘What I Do’, Vincent deals strictly in high grade material. This is no exception.

Phil Weeks is a house music purist. Whether DJing or producing, the Parisian with the huge personality delivers raw beats influenced in equal measure by
classic Chicago house and nu‐school French flair, underpinned with a hip‐hop attitude. His long running Robsoul Recordings also defines him as one of the
most skilled label heads in underground house music.
In the studio Phil is dedicated to classic hardware like Akai’s MPC 3000 sampler and Roland’s TR909 drum machine. He has released more than 250 tracks and
remixes since his debut in 2000, working with labels including 2020 Vision, Music For Freaks, Brique Rouge, Detour, Adult Only and his own Robsoul, which
is responsible for the majority of his original output. 

Phil’s work can also be found in the collaborations Fries & Bridges (with Hector Moralez) and PS Project/Bubba Beats & Kid Piston (with DJ Sneak). Production highlights include Phil’s three albums ‘Love Affair’ (2011), ‘Yeah I Like That’ (2003) and ‘Raw Instrumental’ (2012), alongside style‐defining singles ‘Hypnose’, ‘It Put Me Well’ and ‘All Day Every Day’. The music has been
heavily supported by international dance press including achieving accolades such as MixMag’s and De‐Bug’s ‘Album Of The Month’, while DJs ranging from
Danny Howells and Yousef to Mark Farina and DJ Sneak consistently play his tracks. Behind the decks, Phil has racked up enough air miles to take him around the
world several times over, with appearances at the world’s leading house clubs ‐ Queen’s Club, Sankeys, Circus, Ministry of Sound, Back to Basics and Stereo are
all regular haunts, alongside his Paris residency ‘Get Underground’ at the infamous Rex Club.

Phil has also fully embraced the relationship with his fans and house music fans in general – whether through his popular ‘Underground Chronicles’ video diaries
on Youtube or his personal relationships on Facebook.
Despite his success Phil isn’t one to brag. To him it’s all about keeping proper house music alive. Which just goes to prove Phil Weeks is a house music purist.
