Caleb the Artist is a R&B/ Soul Singer, Songwriter & Producer from Saint Louis, Missouri.  His  rich tenor voice added with the 90’s gospel style tone, gives his music a heartfelt  & conscious feel.  

At the early age of 4, Caleb has always had a passion for music. From hosting at home concerts   as a child. Going on to do musical theater, playing the piano, & choir throughout middle & high school. Caleb continued to be musically inclined. Growing up, he was heavily inspired by Gospel, Hiphop, Soul, & Country. 

He professionally recorded & released his first single “5” early 2017 and has blazed a trail for his music career ever since. 

Caleb lists his style of music influences as Stevie wonder, BEYONCE, the Clark sisters, Michael Jackson, K. Michelle , Dionne Warwick, Aretha Franklin, and many more. However, he can’t forget his late Great Grandmother Mary Henley,  who guided him through his process of learning how to sing in the church of “Friendly Temple Choir”.

A1Lapearla was born in Tacoma, Washington but relocated to Queens, NY at the age of 3. Throughout his years his musical talents were honed by the large variety of music played by his mother who was an active duty Staff Sergeant in the military at the time. By age 7, A1 could write full songs complete with choruses, bridges, verses and addlibs. "I had a very keen sense for music, I would listen to all these different genres of music and I would hear different notes, and chords that no one else that was listening could hear." "Music guided me, and has definitely on numerous occasions kept me out of harms way." Some legendary artists that A1 grew up studying were Micheal Jackson, Sade, Bobby Caldwell, Marvin Gaye to name a few. His 1st highly anticipated EP entitled "The Power Î Posess will be available this spring.
