From the Apollo Theater to Madison Square Garden to the Georgia Dome, Gernie B. has been the artist to watch since the age of six years old, when she made her debut at a local talent show in her hometown East Orange, NJ when she belted out Yolanda Adams' hit "Open Up My Heart". Since then, Gernie B. has graced many stages and performed at huge events such as the BET Experience, The Halftime Show for the NY Knicks, Atlanta's own Sweet Auburn Festival, and countless more. She is also a trained Hip-Hop dancer under the wings of celebrity choreographers Sean Bankhead (Ciara), Beejay Harris (Jungle Boogie - ABDC), and CiCi Kelley (Tiffany Evans).

Gernie was been featured Hot 107.9's "Bullying Is Not Hot" Tour alongside Mindless Behavior, Jaquees, and the OMG Girlz, performing her original song "Malicious Hatred," a remake of Michael Jackson's 1988 hit "Dirty Diana," in dedication to all victims of bullying throughout the world. The song and music video that accompanied won the 2012 NAACP ACT-SO Award in Film.
