Coming with a high end selection of his favourite Afrotech, Afrohouse, Melodic Techno & Deep Tech cuts to get those good vibes flowing, to brighten up these winter days and get you primed ahead of his debut Subculture appearance! 🌤️

Sib is steadfastly committed to pushing the sound of African Electronic Music forward, both with his productions and when he is behind the decks. he is Currently Part of the label @Weareidyll records, alongside @Trekkah & @Khalidos, alongside his own Optimistic Music @optimistic-oul-241500219 imprint. 🎹

Optimistic Soul also run an afro house night called Africa Is Now in The Berkeley Suite, which started off as a radio show on Deeplomatikk radio which later evolved into a space for artists who may wish to express themselves in anyway musically. Alongside his JAIVA Glasgow residency, a party ran by ButhoTheWarrior @ngqae who is also dedicated to the cause of pioneering Afro House In Glasgow. 🔊

FISHER - Losing It

I put the bones of this tune together in a hotel room while road tripping between gigs in Arizona earlier this year, feeling super inspired by the west coast clubs I’d been playing at. The vocals were written and recorded while sick in bed, using my tour manager's iPhone earbud microphone and a doona cover as my vocal booth. At the time I had planned on replacing the demo with a cleaner take when I got home to Australia, but I was never able to recreate something as gritty and weird... so it stayed! It's been slaying it for me ever since, I hope it slays for you guys too ❤️🙌🏼
