In this particular playlist we are presenting different shapes of Dub Techno. Therefore we reached out to our friends and Guest DJs to record and create a set for you.

Artist Bio:
Emesh led by Antonio Muñoz is a master in creative music production across electronic, ambient, slow trance, idm and dub. He comes from the beautiful region of La Alcarria in Spain. Since 2013 on Sendero Records, he has been delivering a quite diverse range of sound to the listener, sometimes danceable, sometimes calming, more metallic, more organic, and always inspiring. Antonio is both, a musician and therapist. His musical influences owe much to the pop and electronics of the 80s when he started working as resident Dj at Deadly club in Brihuega (Guadalajara-Spain) about 9 years. From there he went to Madrid to do Dj sets with his aka Dujay in various popular nightspots of the capital like the Circulo de Bellas Artes, Mondo and Maxime between others, in addition in the early 2000s he is the founder of the underground parties Darkbeat, programming deep trance and progressive house, pioneers in the city. Working with these sounds allowed him to warm up James Holden the first time he visited Spain in 2003. Evolving his skills, he delved into music production, mastering various instruments and exploring sound therapy rooted in shamanic practices. Antonio gives regular sound therapy sessions and journeys using his Tibetan Singing Bowls, Shamanic Drum and other ancient instruments. His talent has been recognized on a global stage, with his track featured at the London Music Conference in 2020 playing a set at fabric@london. This global recognition is a testament to his skill and creativity. Currently, he's immersed in his studio, Elul, recently completing an indie electronic EP with Miss Zagato, and recent releases on Initiate Rec., Piranha Siberia Dub, Blue Lotus and Something Spæcial label. Her recent highlights include a closing set at the iconic Elements night at about:blank (Berlin), performances at Distillery (Leipzig), Slip Club (Cyprus), and the Sunny Side Festival, curated by the Desert Society collective and with much more on the horizon.

Soma welcomes LA based Alexander Kulikov for a special release on the label, bringing the deep and dubbed out ‘October Dreams Pt.1’. The self professed ‘Dub Techno enthusiast’ has been involved in various musical activities in his time but has begun to focus more on the roots of his chosen sound throughout the last few years - bringing the traditional sound of Detroit & Berlin into his productions. This release (part 1 of 2) sees him delving into deep sonic experiments with ethereal soundscapes and atmospheres set to a backdrop of psycho-acoustic noise and static with the faintest of percussive elements helping to keep the rhythm. The release also features a special remix from one of Detroit’s best kept secrets as DeepLabs boss, Luke Hess turns in a perfectly crafted, Detroit inspired version of Stream.

Rob Zile's first EP was released in September 2009 on Artefekz Muzik.  Following this EP many doors were opened; from being asked to remix other artists to forging great relationships with other dj’s, producers and record labels from around the world.  It also gave him the opportunity to play his first international gig at the WMC Techno Marathon in Miami in 2010, sharing the bill with artists such as Perc, Spektre, Oliver Giacomotto and many more.

Rob hosts a radio show called ‘Brain Food Radio’ on Kiss FM Dance Music Australia every Tuesday night from 10pm to 11:30pm AEST/AEDT. 
‘Brain Food Radio’ showcases thought-provoking electronic music and is curated for people who want more than just the hits and the big names.
'Brain Food Radio' has been on the Kiss airwaves since 2013.
