John Walker aka "Turn@round" has been a staple in electronic dance music since the 1990s. As a DJ, he’s headlined the USA and abroad. His style mainly focuses on a blend of house and techno with a dash of balearic and 80's nostalgia. Producing, his original music hits digital downloads, app markets, TV and more. Behind the wheel as engineer, he mentors over a wide range of experiments in sound.

Im a 45 yr old audiophile from Sherman,Texas.. I love all kinds of music and have been in electronic music my whole life. I love to explore all kinds of sonic landscapes and spaces. I love music more than anything, it is the great conveyor of emotion. Unoversal math.
I love sharing my music with people in hopes that they could enjoy some of my expression. I have been working in the 140/70 bpm dub tech type stuff as well as good house music. JV represents a unique breed of dance music producer -- one that fuses together elements of House and Techno to simultaneously move dance floors and provoke the imagination. With over twenty record releases under his belt, JV's "deep-yet-dancefloor" sound has circulated the globe several times over, catching the attention of those in the know, such as Hernan Cattaneo who featured JV's "Grand Theft Vinyl" track on his highly acclaimed Renaissance Masters compilation.

While a music maker at heart, JV also has a passion for hearing conservation. In 2012, JV founded Frequency Effect, a charity organization with three core goals: educate the music community on how to protect their hearing, support a cure for hearing loss through fundraising events, and share a love for deep electronic music with the world. Recent successes of the charity include a Red Bull Music Academy sponsored tour through the US which featured cutting edge artists and generated over $10k for research.

Today, Orly diggs deep in the crates with Mike Gordon as Rotary Affair & writes beats with Brian Knolley as Black & Tan. Recently, Black & Tan's debut release coming out in December 2014 on Audiophile Deep on all digital music stores. Beatport, iTunes, Spotify...etc.
