Divine Steps

First of the three songs for LD29. I wasn't sure how to make a theme for police, so I tried to do something a bit shady. The new instruments are really useful~

Police

Finally on the last stage of chatanmaku 2, so this song is a bit shorter than most stages. I'd have liked to make it a bit slower, but I wanted to have it match the stage; I think this speed suits its intensity better, anyway. If you remember, I made a basic idea-ish version of this song about a year ago; it's changed a lot since then~
Up next is the final boss theme, which should be fun.

Winds Of Change ~ The Ultimate Choice

A 15 second song I managed to make. It's supposed to be the loading thing from Pokepark Wii.

Hunting of the Lion

Nothing much changed from the previous version, I just lowered the volume of the flute and made everything else louder.
It still doesn't make it sound like fighting music, though.

If this is my loudest song so far, I'm doing it right.

The first in some random music pieces I'll be putting out, for another game I'm making called Chatanmaku.

This one seems like it would be more fitting for an earlier stage.

Disco Forest???

The theme this week was to try and "get back into the groove" by making something similar to your previous songs and, it's been so long since I made anything that I found that Really Hard.

I've done a little bit of music theory reading and analysis since the last song I made, so It's possibly a bit more "correct" if you could even describe that as a thing, but also feels a little more basic. sometimes when you don't know what you're doing you accidentally stumble upon things that are interesting i guess? Just means I have more to learn.

This one does keep the kind of dance/edm beat that I always lean into accidentally, though I also tried to simulate a guitar strumming effect and those two things are already an unusual combo. I did some analysis specifically into some Nier music and i can hear that leaking in, too. 

All in all, this is a very strange track, but I tried not to spend too long fine tuning it.

Beauty's Wicked Wiles {Mashup}

The theme for Mark in Crazy River, a Ludum Dare project. I'm not sure if they've uploaded it yet, but this is actually based on the main theme for the game composed by https://soundcloud.com/spiffiesttea . This character owns the park the game takes place in (hence the melody stealing), and they're meant to be a bit eccentric so I thought that this kind of carnival-ish theme would be fitting. I wish i had an excuse to use trombones and timpani more often.
