I PLAYED IN EVERY BAND POSSIBLE SINCE MIDDLE SCHOOL INCLUDING MARCHING, SYMPHONIC, JAZZ, AND WINTER PERCUSSION UNITS. I STARTED ON STAGE IN THE BLUES CIRCUIT WITH JEFF FLOYD, SERGIO DAVIS, AND MEL WAITERS. IN 2001 I WAS NAMED ALL-STATE NO. 2 HIGH-SCHOOL PERCUSSIONIST IN THE SATE OF ALABAMA AND NUMBER 1 IN THE SOUTH REGION OF ALABAMA. YOU KNOW THAT FEELING YOU GET WHEN YOU FINALLY GET SOMETHING YOU ALWAYS WANTED? MUSIC GIVES ME THAT FEELING NO MATTER WHAT I'M DOING. PLAYING, PRACTICING, PRODUCING, WHATEVER.......IT'S LIKE HEAVEN ON EARTH FOR ME. GOD HAS BLESSED ME TREMENDOUSLY AND I'D LIKE TO SHARE IT WITH YOU. Lordstyle was created in dedication of King David's long-time friend Edwan Hosey whose life-long dream was to create music. King David has never been modest on his journey to greatness, and on any given day you can catch him hard on the grind in the streets passing out fliers and cd's, hanging posters, or on the internet promoting his music worldwide. In 2007 King David was finally recognized for his superior grind style by Dead Serious T.V. in Auburn Alabama. King David was nominated for the Dead Serious Award On the Grind, and won. In 2008 King David was invited back to the Dead Serious Awards winning the coveted Internet Swag award, and was also nominated for the Most Hustle award and the Impact Artist of the Year award. King David was nominated for the 2009 “Indy Rap” Artist of the year by the S.E.A (Southeren Entertainment Award) and also received “Mix-Tape Artist” of the year in 2011. King David has recived a total of four awards from Real Talk Magazine the first award received in 2009 the “Hardest Grinding Artist” and then in 2011 he received three additional awards for “Industry hustler”, “Impact Artist” and another award for “Hardest Grinding Artsit” all by Real Talk Magazine. King David was also featured in the second issue of Real Talk Magazine in 2008. In addition to being a C.E.O and artist King David is also a skilled business man. In 2006 he started a partnership with the Yang boys, Sonny and Tony, creating custom gold grillz and jewelry, and most recently King David has ventured into the film industry with the creation of his first motion film entitled "Tables" LORDSTYLE COMING THROUGH!!!!
