Indie meets Electro Swing! When Marina & The Kats wrote their Indie Swing hit “Ponder” and released it in 2021, they certainly didn’t expect for it to one day turn into an electronic party anthem. When they wrote it, they also didn’t know Betty Boom though. The South African DJ and producer has made a name for herself as a reliable source for Electro Swing hits and club bangers over the course of just a few years and has now turned “Ponder” into one of them. Je suis dans le djing depuis très longtemps maintenant, en commençant  à l'âge de 12/13 ans avec les conscrits et le foyer rural (je parle des balloche), à une époque où la musique évolue. C'était le début des platines vinyles et l'arrivée de nouveaux styles musicaux (Hip-hop, Tekno, Ragga). A19 ans (et engagé dans l'armée), je suis tombé amoureux d'un style particulier, à un moment où je me suis recherché dans le mix (je m'ennuie a joué de la house et autre tekno du Nord). Et un beau jour un ami m'a fait écouter sur K7 (un 69db pour les anciens)... Je mît "play"... et se que j'écoutais aller TOTALEMENT transformer ma vie et devenir ma "CULTURE". Passionné par la Freetekno/Party. Cette musik tekno underground va devenir plus qu'un passe temps, à un point que cela fait 22 ans que je fais des teufs, j'ai même fait du live avec des machines (Korg, Roland, Yamaha, et autre), je joue avec un contrôleur Traktor et son logiciel (ces de la balle), et je me prépare à apprendre le MAO (Musique Assissté par Ordinateur), afin de boucler la boucle.
