Francisco Soares é músico compositor, pesquisador, produtor de música eletrônica, multi-instrumentista e poeta, traduz suas paixões em diversos idiomas da arte e tecnologia, realizando estudos e trabalhos com ilustração digital, fotografia e animação 3D, abrindo, para além da panorâmica, mundos artificiais para revelar desejos e questões, encontrando assim espaços plurais capazes de absorver um pouco de tudo que o seduz, como a matemática na programação sonora ou a antropologia étnica na música, a tecnologia como arte ou expressão performática, atenuando os caminhos e qualidades aparentemente distantes, intrigando trocas e colaborações com diversos artistas de variadas áreas ( dança,  teatro, performance, filosofia, ciência ), como se andar fosse sempre dar as mãos com algo ou alguém, eis que a ponte, o contato, é troca de dois ou mais terrenos, e a aventura de se conhecer é também a de conhecer o mundo pelo Outro. 

A percepção do artista em muitos momentos se transporta à memória, à história e ao folclore de forma análoga a que se move em direção à mestiçagem tecnológica e ao hibridismo sonoro, buscando sempre trajetos que se ramificam, que não se esgotam, que não têm um fim específico, permitindo um caminho instigado por revisitar, por esse ir que é voltar, retratando na gênese do seu trabalho uma elaboração multiplicadora, sobrevivendo a sua criação uma comunicação vasta de estilos e estéticas onde a trama se maquina em untar tudo que é próximo e longe, tricota assim o tradicional e o contemporâneo com o território nômade, o algodão com o eletrônico e a poeira com algo fresco.

Inicia sua carreira em 2008, convidado por Michel Nath ( fundador da Vinil Brasil ) para apresentar no Festival Fora do Tempo - Maranhão, seu primeiro trabalho de audio-visual  "Arte Urbana Orquestrafônica",  com manipulações de vídeo e síntese sonora ao vivo.
Desde ali se aprofundou dentro da cultura da música eletrônica e teve seus projetos sempre marcados por grandes performances ao-vivo com lives sessions acompanhadas de produções audio-visuais, participando dos mais importantes festivais do Brasil.

This story like many before started with the influence of sound.
Our purpose is to evolve the human consciousness to  an awakening frame of mind, expanding the neuro network in turn to create unique harmonics to the listener’s ears.
For us it began a few years ago while attending psychedelic electronic festivals, back then it was centered around music on mainstream trance sounds, generic templates plus annoying build ups to nowhere, for this it was obvious that it was time for a transformation.
So began the journey of like-minded sound producers who got together and collaborated an alternate perspective, this  potential is to bring about a dynamic sound design and spread a message that music has a true essence to explore conscious awareness, while to bring back the essence of psychedelic to a dance floor near you.
How the community started?.
In 2004 this dynamic emerged in creating a new underground label.
Founded by Dark Whisper, the tribe ‘Alice-D’ was officially born.
The mission was to create a deep impact with rolling bass lines in synergy with multidimensional sound-scape, that would influence the psyche within a community and bring about a healing “spiritual” transition to them.
Frequencies are designed and edited by the musicians involved with the Alice-D crew.
Numberless sound experiments have followed, while skills improved, the Alice-D community are ready to transform the dance floors with a psychedelic experience.
Though, like many ideas the beginning was a challenge, but this only made the community much more persistent.
We have attended numerous gatherings to encourage and create an awareness of alternative cerebral psychedelic sounds.
This has led to a major breakthrough and a better understanding from the community to further elevate these ideas and experience a new style of music.
What does it sound like?.
The distinctive sounds of Alice-D we feel is a mystical journey more tuned to a surreal experience, while dancing, meditating or expressing the power of selfless.
Every style is prismatic however, the real purpose is to let the wanderlust experience to find a true ritual of a gathering ceremony with a positive out put and learning experience.
A higher level of collective conscience thereby creating an intelligent being to bring dance  to the harmonical core!

All the BTKZR tracks are extracted from our collection of Brazilian vinyl records. These were found digging on our numerous travels since the year 2000.

Our DJ sets will bring you soundscape music, afro brazilian, tropicália madness, the emotional depths of samba/bossa plus incredible beats and basslines, haunting vocals and spiritual songs from the South to the North of this great country.

In 2020 we played a few gigs abroad (Norway, Belgium) and toured in Brazil before Corona. The summer was spent touring and DJing extensively in Denmark with more than 20 gigs over the span of the summer.

In 2018 and 2019 BTKZR has Toured in India and Brazil, played Gilles Petersons Worldwide Festival, Mellotron in Paris, NTS Radio, bookings at Spiritland in London, Copenhagen Jazz Festival and much much more.

In 2017 Batukizer has played a score of major Danish Festivals: Roskilde, Stella Polaris, Metropol, Volume Festival. In addition events and major club nights with deep and magnificent music. A German tour, Yuka Club in Tunis, Alma Hotel in Barcelona.

In 2016 Batukizer has played at: Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Roskilde Festival, supporting legendary Azymuth in Copenhagen, warming up for Jorge Ben at Circo Voador in Rio, The Lake Radio, Jolenes in Copenhagen, SommerChill Festival.

In 2015 Batukizer has played in Paris, Neu Club São Paulo, Cph Winterjazz Festival (with Azymuth), The Lake Radio, Roskilde Festival, Søndagsvenner Festival, Distortion Festival, Ya'Ya' Hifi in Rio de Janeiro.

In 2014 Batukizer has played at: We Love Helsinki, Trailerpark Festival, Chill i Parken Festival and Sunday Friends.
