Marking my third collaboration with gifted pianist Debra Buesking, what an honor and treat to have her add her piano magic to a tune I wrote some 25 years ago on a warm summer evening in Colorado.  The Godin guitar seemed the perfect voice to express the warmth and intimacy of a summer evening reverie, and Debra's piano the perfect accompaniment, like two friends enjoying a glass of wine. Well I was sitting in the lobby of the Commodore hotel 
When in walked a woman I used to know so well 
She was, looking like a million after all these years

As she walked across the room, to the reception desk 
A strange kind of feeling came into my chest 
And all them old memories came rushing in

The times we spent together 
The day that we met 
First time I held her hand I never will forget 
The way she smiled at me for no reason at all 
Still got some old photographs from the time she used to call

Well, last time I saw her she was waving goodbye 
Walking down the road with teardrops in her eyes
All I could do was watch and let her go

If things had worked out a little differently
