Sweethearts of the Prison Rodeo are a Falkirk collective feat members of Y'all is Fantasy Island. New LP ‘Pigs in the Bull Ring’ (humans like beasts). A concept album that explores the intertwining nature of human and animal behaviour through the retelling of stories, brought by the fascist ghost of Mussolini in dreams of absent-minded transgression. It also touches upon misogyny, pornography, astronomy, ancient pagan tribes and auto-erotic cannibalism.

Formed in Atlanta (GA, USA), Freaky Girls is a trio consisting of Benjamin Heddon,  Douglas Aldridge and Natalie Quinn. The band debuted its first single in January 2017 and plans to have an EP out before Summer. 

The music combines waves of retro and modern electronic synth sounds, brushing over the electropop, synthwave and indietronica genres. Mostly upbeat, their dreamy melodies elicit a transcendental euphoria hidden within an agreeable dance beat.
