Failed Muso is an ongoing, infinite project which serves as a vent for all things musical in my life. Originally a drummer, I was obsessed with music technology from a very early age, at a time when music technology itself was at an early age. After having numerous bad experiences playing with bands (and dealing with hefty ego's), I opted for a more technical and withdrawn approach, although I do miss playing live. I now perform a number of tasks that vary between writing music and doing sound design and beta testing for both music hardware and software. Check out my blog for more on Failed Muso. I'd describe my output as personal, cinematic soundtracks to everyday occurrences and experiences. Ever had one of those serendipitous moments, say, on a train, where you see a pretty girl and the song on your MP3 player just fits the moment ? Or you're travelling through a foreign land and the tune you hear just fits your emotions and your locality ? That's the kind of music I want to write. The soundtrack to a life. 

I am an electronica composer from Northern Ireland. (A country with very little in the way of electronic music artists.)
Sometimes I sing! (Not great though!)

Writing and recording under the guise of Page-R (in reference to the mighty Fairlight CMI!!) along side Failed Muso.

I use Propellerhead Reason 6.01 almost exclusively. It's amazing.

Among the Echoes are a Birmingham UK based 
Synth-Rock / Electronic-Rock band.

The band:

Formed in 2012, the bands have self-released:

  Sin (Single) – 2013  	                    Fracture (Album) -2014
 
Popular with fans of the  electronic, synthpop, goth, rock and newwave music, Among the Echoes have also been invited to support artists that have include Toyah, The Birthday Massacre, Cruxshadows and Hanzel Und Gretyl. 

The band continues to receive     regular airplay from independent radio stations and have open invitations to return for interviews with the release of their new material during 2016.

During 2015 the band began writing and recording new material that they will start the release from early spring 2016. The material was played to fans attending their 2015 shows and was very well received.

Being a very organised, hardworking and professional band, Among the Echoes has become a band that promoters and other band remain keen to work with throughout the UK.

The band is aiming for a busy year of releases and shows and will be working hard to get out and play shows across Europe…

John V Coleman - also known as "Jay-Cee" - has received air play on BBC radio and local stations across the UK.  

John has supported various bands in the past - but recently #SigueSigueSputnik, #BMovie, #GlobalCitizen and other #80s funk or electronic bands. 

John had played Live Music Venues & private parties regionally in the UK and in London.
John was Professionally trained by Tona de Brett and he currently (as Jay Cee) has contemporary tunes released to the American billboard charts - through an American label @SobelPromotions, #SobelPromotions based in NYC USA. 

Tearing up the dance floors with uplifting anthemic songs- he acknowledges other artists such as #Bowie, #GaryNuman, #Kraftwerk., #Ultravox #Visage … and other late #70s and #80s #electronic musicians from UK/Europe.

BAND HISTORY - IN THE 1980S  : 

John V Coleman (Jay Cee) - performed as part of band the #DollDrums, #OurselvesAlone and #Bamboo in the 80s... We have supported #SouthernDeathCult, #SistersofMercy, #Amazulu, #Shreikback and one of our promoters was #JohnMostyn.
 
Featuring as part of the Doll Drums - on #PaulGambaccini, #KidJensen and #JohnPeel shows on #Radio2 in the 1980s...  

Zero Corporation were due to support #SteveStrange as #Visage in 2014 - but he unfortunate passed away.
