After seven years since this Dutch duo released their infamous “Attic edits EP”, Moiety & Manik are back. Voodoo Hoodoo is their brand new 3-track EP filled with psychedelic analog heat for dance-floors and tribal rituals. Each track tells its own story from voodoo scenes to deep water worlds. This EP won’t let itself be defined by genres, but the style can be described as percussion driven electronic music that will play with your imagination and take you on a trip.

Manik is also known as Jo Bissa, half of Umoja and is founder of the well established record label called INI Movement.
Moiety has just recently released his new album called ‘ZEN’ for his alias LOVE APE and is also known for his releases on INI Movement.

The duo gained big success with their Attic Edits EP, which received millions of streams without any significant promotion.

As their production skills and taste for different musical influences developed, they held a jam session in mid 2020. This resulted in the Voodoo Hoodoo project, where everything came together and formed their new electronic tribal sound.

Not An Animal keeps up the pace and pressure with yet another high quality distinctive release, further cementing the labels specific sound and revealing more of the scope of its musical mission. Machete Savane are comprised of label co-owner Andy Bainbridge and producer/composer Saul Richards. Manticore continues with their instantly recognisable hi octane yet organic discofied sound, as previously displayed via their releases on Cynic and Redux. New York mainstay (Lord) Fascinator drops another remix of his tune Beyoğlu. This time the track gets the remix treatment from Dreem who teams up once again with Kris Baha under their Die Orangen-moniker and deliver once again, after a remix on Le Temps Perdu a few weeks back, an outstanding experimental piece of music. Their take of Beyoglu, named after a district of Turkey's capital Istanbul, covers various unexpected yet anticipated sounds, structues and sequences. With an almost rockish note, which is partly broken up by either funky or percussive elements, and looped vocals the Die Orangen-take evolves into a rather organic hypnotic downtempo dance floor weapon that unites and captures the best from multiple genres to be a sophisticated yet easy but complex musical approach.

Rodion is from Rome. Mixmag/UK called him the “new genius of Italian Dance music”.
Rodion makes extremely emotional freaked out electronic music that’s ahead of its time. Somewhere between the depths of cosmic music and synthesized funk, mixed with the dramatic melodies of Italian horror movies. Heavily influenced by soundtrack composers such as Morricone and Goblin, by the Japanese science fiction animation soundtracks of the 70’s and by classical music and balearic club culture, Rodion is fully tuned into the extraterrestrial beat.
In 2007 the boy from Rome released his debut album 'Romantic Jet Dance' on Gomma which became a favourite of DJs such as Prins Thomas and the DFA crew. During the last four years Rodion' singles and remixes on Gomma, Eskimo, City Slang, Bearfunk and MBdisco (where he remixed his majesty GIORGIO MORODER), brought Rodion's sound into the playlists of Franz Ferdinand, Erol Alkan, Francois K, Andrew Weatherall, Aeroplane, James Holden, Cosmo Vitelli and many others.
After collaborating on his 'For Ever EP' on Gomma (2010) with superstar crooners Louie Austen and Jeppe Kjellberg from Whomadewho
in 2011 Rodion released spacey 12" singles on Nang, Eskimo and Bang Gang DJs together with fellow club mates Bottin, Francisco and Golden Bug.  In 2012 it has been the turn of two exciting EPs on La Belle from Paris and Slowmotion from Berlin, made in collaboration with maestro Fabrizio Mammarella of Clap Rules (Tiny Sticks, Bearfunk, DFA) and the sexiest doner man on earth, Khan of Finland.
Rodion is also one half of the sweaty duo ALIEN ALIEN, together with Hugo Sanchez: in 2011 they released their debut 'Black Guru' EP on Slowmotion records. Their SAMBACA number quickly reached the kinkiest ballrooms all around the world, became a queer hymn and got featured in many compilations, including "Body Language vol.12" on Get Physical records.
Rodion played live and DJed in many of the best clubs around the world, from Moscow to Paris, from Berlin to Istanbul, from Mexico City to New York, Shanghai and Kuala Lumpur.
So expect him to sooner or later visit a ballroom close to your hometown...
