Easily one of the most technical hard dance DJ’s in the world and a member of the world famous Tidy Trax roster, Rodi Style has firmly established himself as an artist like no other. He is an award winning DJ (Best Newcomer - Hard Dance Awards 2008), a producer whose music is supported by all the heavyweights including multiple plays on BBC Radio1, a label owner managing high quality hard dance and a radio show host on one of the largest online radio stations in the world (slinky.fm).

Rodi Style is one of the few forward thinking DJs in the Hard Dance scene that are at the forefront of performance enhancing technical showmanship. Layering and blending over 3 CDJs, audio manipulation through the use of onboard and outboard fx units as well as turntabalist style scratching isn’t something that’s unheard of in a Rodi Style set and neither is the odd chance of him standing on the tables and scratching with his feet. These unique qualities have propelled Rodi into the elite having made appearances at Global Gathering, Creamfields, Coloursfest, Lovefest as well as the legendary Tidy Weekenders. Cheeky Tracks is one of the UK's most successful independent hard dance labels, Launched by the Cheeky Boys in 2010 with only an unknown collective of artists, Cheeky Tracks has grown into a established, well-recognised and respected brand that is firmly at the forefront of the hard dance scene. 

Rather than focusing on niche areas or sub-genres of hard dance, Cheeky Tracks focuses on accessible music from across the full spectrum of the genre. The Cheeky trademark sound is a classic mix of vocal anthems, big hooks, grooves, melody and good old fashioned hands-in-the-air dance music with crossover appeal - regardless of whether it's chunky funk, banging bounce beats, big room trance floorfillers or heads-down hard house. Electrified Perth is a hugely successful monthly Hard Dance club night in Perth Western Australia, we put the spark back in clubbing at our events with a supercharged mix of Trance, Psy Trance, Hard Trance, Hard House, Drum & Bass and Uk Hardcore. As a prolific multi-genre producer and engineer, his track alongside Andy Moor “One Thing About You” featuring Amy Kirkpatrick, reached #1 on Beatport and stayed in the top 10 for three weeks. Adding to Somna’s Beatport success, “One Thing About You” won the 2015 award for the most streamed trance track on Beatport.

2015 and 2016 also saw multiple Somna releases reach the top 10 on Beatport, with tracks featuring the likes of Jennifer Rene & Michele C. To mark Lange Recordings’ 200th release, Somna was invited to team up with Johnny Yono and Monoverse.  The result was “Hijackers”, a triple threat labor of love which reached #3 on the Beatport charts. During these years, Somna also made two label debuts (Armada Captivating and Future Sound Of Egypt Excelsior) and joined the trance elite as he had the honor of mixing a 3 disc compilation alongside Andy Moor for AVA Recordings' 10 year anniversary. Coupled by a truly rare triple play on A State Of Trance (episode #791), 2016 was fantastic year for Somna.

His success carried over into 2017 as Somna showed no signs of slowing down.  As one of the few trance artists hitting 100k+ monthly listeners on Spotify, Somna has an average monthly listener base of 140,000+ and the yearly collected data showed a staggering 13.4 million plus minutes streamed for his music on the #1 streaming platform.  

2018 was a powerhouse year for Somna with a new single on Armada's Captivating label, hitting the landmark 1 million streams for his single "Look Back" on Spotify and debut appearances in Jakarta (Indonesia), Oslo (Norway), Zurich (Switzerland) and Amsterdam (Netherlands).
As the label manager, A&R and co-owner of AVA Recordings, Somna continues to make strides while playing an important role within the scene.
