Childsplay has been rocking the DMV (DC, MD, VA) nightlife scene for over a decade, bringing the sounds of Drum n Bass, Breakbeat, Club, Hip Hop, Ol Skool and Bass music all together. He is known for using multiple platforms, i.e. 2 Turntables, 2 CDJs, 2 battle style scratch mixers, and sometimes even accompanied by the Roland 808. Hes also no stranger to the production world either. Having teamed up with Bradley Drop & Eric EMZ, forming the group Pump Pump, who have charted multiple times on beatport.com's Breakbeat top 10, including the track "Set it Off", which sat at #1 for 8 weeks. Until the recent pandemic, Childsplay has been playing shows all around the east coast, including (WMC) Miami Winter Music Conference, which he has been invited to play 4 times. Currently, Childsplay has taken on yet another role, landing a job with the Beat Refinery, at the Bach 2 Rock school of music, where he has become a certified instructor, teaching scratching, DJing, music production, and also courses on marketing your brand as an artist, to all age groups. With Covid 19 still in full effect, Childsplay has been laying low, taking full advantage of this time to put full focus on his production, while also teaching onsite & virtually, and maintains hosting his own radio show Wednesday's on Radio1.morebass.com.
