I'm a music artist who creates tunes in the moment of inspiration no matter where I am and no matter when. Could be pulled over to the curb, in a cafe, a bookstore or in the shower. Who knows? I just create the tune as is. Sometimes music comes to me in dreams and what I do upon waking up is instantly write down the words if there were any and I record the melody.

Solomon Conyers soon to be Solomon Odartey Tetteh (long story) is better known by his stage name 7th Soana; acronym for (7th Sun of a New Age). A multifaceted recording artist from Charlotte, NC., 7th is on his way to becoming one of the premier faces of the artistic expressive world. 7th Soana blends elements of Soul, Lounge, Lyricism, Poetry, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Jazz & Spoken word into his own category of Music he calls Music of Reciprocity. 7th speaks on issues of Courage, Ambition, Spirituality, Realness, Struggle, & Downfall …. in other words, The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly! 
Solomon was Born to Solomon Lamptey Tetteh & Betty Tetteh Aug. 13th, 1983 in Walterboro, SC. Shortly after Solomon was born, his father, a then Ghanian immigrant moved his family to Decatur, GA. While in GA., the young Solomon grew a deeper connection with the art of music. At the age of ten the adolescent gained an enjoyment for instrumentation and sight music. He would start his music career in the fifth grade playing Trombone in his school band. The next thirteen years of practicing music would serve as his gateway to a world of heaven on earth. 
In 1996 Solomon’s father received an opportunity for better employment and decided to move his family to Charlotte. While in Charlotte the young 7th would continue to practice & perform in his High School band, he later started to add new waves of music to his arsenal. With the rise of the digital era 7th dove into music programming and the midi world. The next 19 years were dedicated to the study of music in all genres; creating music, music theory, programming, & writing. Solely a producer at this time 7th will not partake in the performing side until the early 2000′s. A love for language, communication, and spoken word would reel him in. He began working on his Campaign in 2007 with a series of projects he termed, FMGF, better known as “Fuck Money Get Free”. He quotes, “FMGF is my motto that I am using to raise the awareness of money as a tool, and not as a leisure … not to say you can’t have leisure, but that leisure has to bring value to your life”. Now 4 volumes deep the Artist does not intend to give up the race. 
Through various projects & live performances 7th intends to bring back the true reality & creativity of the conscious mind. He is a great breath of fresh air! The world will appreciate his many gifts.

I began making music under the moniker Panspermia in the mid 90s.  The early experiments were sound-collage and analogue electronics-heavy.   The early period was heavily influenced by "Kraut Rock" and had a tinge of neo-psychedelia.   More recently I have been focusing on soundtrack work.  Here I will archive some older material (which has been salvaged from casettes), demos/experiments, and current and future musical projects.

"Faces of a Queen" is Ajda's newest record, released April 2023, and features members of a band formed in Boston back in spring of 2018.  The new album picks up where Ajda's previous band Black Fortress of Opium left off, offering something for many tastes - gothy mandolin, heavy guitars, soulful piano, and even a poppy song with harpsichord.

Other recent solo recordings include "Take This Ride" from indie producer Martin Bisi's studio commemorative BC35 LP and "Bobby's Car" released on BC35 Vol. II, both on the Bronson Recordings label (Italy).

Ajda's previous band Black Fortress of Opium formed in Boston area in 2006, making their name with two well-received albums and one 6 song EP, and sharing bills with acts like Serena Maneesh (4AD), Dame Darcy, Barbez (Tzadik), and Paul Wallfisch (Swans/Botanica/Firewater/Little Annie Anxiety).  The band's 2008 self-titled debut was the product of a collaboration with Martin Bisi, who produced and recorded the album in his Brooklyn studio, and had previously worked with acts including Sonic Youth, Swans, and The Dresden Dolls.  Warmly received by press and radio, the album garnered favorable reviews and airplay from the Boston Metro, All Music Guide, Terrascope, Northeast Performer, New York Music Daily, WFMU, etc.

Black Fortress of Opium released their sophomore album titled "Stratospherical," in 2012, on which Brian Viglione (The Dresden Dolls) played drums, and on which one-time bassist Dave Yanolis (ex-Nisi Period) appears. Black Fortress of Opium again heavily collaborated with fifth horseman Martin Bisi, who recorded basic tracks and mixed most cuts. Additional engineers Rafi Sofer at Q Division, former BFOO bassist Joel Simches (who also produced two cuts), and Danny Gold, as well additional instrumentalists, contributed to the effort.

The "Slow Burn" EP was released in Fall 2021, offering up 6 more tracks from the BFoO archives.
