Ukrainian bass innovator Sharky delivers a 3-track DnB statement that blends deep atmospheres with razor-sharp percussion and heavyweight low-end.

Sharky made his mark on the music industry back in 2012. Since 2015, he has been actively producing in the dubstep and hybrid trap genres, releasing music on notable labels such as Play Me, Uroboros, Kanibalen, and Heavy Artillery.
His tracks have been featured in sets by well-known artists including Eliminate, Dr. Ozi, Xilent, Dodge & Fuski, and Barely Alive.

Nearly 200,000 light-years from Earth, the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way, floats in space, in a long and slow dance around our galaxy. Vast clouds of gas within it slowly collapse to form new stars. In turn, these light up the gas clouds in a riot of colors.

Richard Devine is a sound designer and musician whose work, characterized by intricate rhythms and an extensive use of DSP, amassed a following within the IDM scene after his remix of Aphex Twin's "Come To Daddy.” Over the course of his 25-year career, Devine has designed patches for gear by Native instruments, Korg, Eventide, and more. His “Voltage Aesthetics” sample pack reflects his seasoned sound design chops, filled with perfectly designed sounds that are at once wacky and beautiful. Spanning versatile one shots to polished loops, Devine’s sounds are nothing short of electrifying. 

This collection contains

287 samples, 191 crazy alien modular single shot percussion & SFX sounds, 96 loops/sequences/textures. These samples will work well with all your favorite VST/AU samplers, and will equally be great source material for your favorite Eurorack modular samplers :-).

Richard Devine: Voltage Aesthetics

Roel Funcken officially popped up on the scene in 2010, with his solo debut, titled Vade, out on Ad Noiseam. But fans of electronic music, and IDM in general, have been tracking this Dutch musician for over a decade prior, when, along with his brother, Don, the duo has released some of the genre defining music on labels such as Djak-Up-Bitch, Schematic, Sublight Records, Neo Ouija, n5MD , Arcola (Warp) as the one and only Funckarma. In 2009 the Funcken brothers kicked off their very own, digital-only, Funcken Industry imprint, which hosted a few of their other projects and offshoots, such as Shadow Huntaz, Scone, Quench, Automotive, and the latest from Roel's solo works. Roel continues to influence the evolution of music through numerous releases (Sapper Morton on Analogical Force, Semtinal Convex on Methlab and Prester Hynn on his own imprint to name a few) and active engagement in the community, with music festival curation, mixes on mixlr and soundcloud and weekly playlists on Soundcloud and spotify. Roel's music is advanced in sound design, often incorporating unique experimentation in electronic sound, with cut-up, twisted, atmospheric sonic soundscapes, leaving the cranium always begging for more. His ambient textures maintain a cinematic quality throughout, while his percussive arrangements retain a constantly mutating framework, always reconstructing its rhythm and structure, contradicting complex configurations and minimal design. It's always a pleasure to taste the latest treat from this aural engineer, and find the latest gem in his never-ending arsenal of sound.
