Benags het hy in skaduwees en die donker hoeke van feeste en Straatbyeenkomste geremoer. Die musiek was regte Afrikaans en dus eerlik rou. Dit was nie te sag nie, en nie te hard nie. Dit was die hartklop van ’n dier.
