„Es war uns eine riesige Freude, dass uns der Lostopf der Regionalen Küche mit „Alice Roger“ beglückt hat. Einen ganzen Abend verbrachten Christian und ich damit, deren Lieder zu genießen und uns darüber auszutauschen. Letztendlich blieben wir bei ihrem neusten Song „Alles erinnert mich an nichts“ hängen und verliebten uns immer mehr in dessen Harmonien und den melancholischen Text.
Beim gemeinsamen jammen kristallisierten sich bestimmte Passagen stetig heraus und luden uns zum Experimentieren ein. Entstanden ist ein Soundtrack für gebrochene Herzen und gleichzeitig eine Hommage an die tollen Musiker der Band Alice Roger.“

This is a song I wrote in 2016, about overcoming negative self doubts when I was starting to write songs again after a break of about 20 years.  It’s a song of positivity and self encouragement to get on and do the things you want to before it’s too late, regardless of what stage of life you’re at.  Recording, percussion and additional fabulous chucka chucka guitars by Carl Hetherington of Van der Neer.

A simple love song about a girl watching guy who is enthralled with a certain passer-by. This was a crude live take that Nat decided to dress up with her own beautiful harmonies and piano, and we decided it was worth releasing until we find time for a "studio" version.
