“Why only” is a moving soundtrack for all those moments in life when we ask ourselves why things don't turn out the way we dreamed they would. Reýem takes us on a quiet but powerful journey through doubt, disappointment and the quiet hope of a new beginning.

Gentle guitar sounds, a touching piano melody and delicate strings form the foundation of this piece - fragile, almost tentative. But the deeper you delve, the more you feel the rebellion in the deep basses and the raw, honest tugging of the guitars: emotions turned into sound that ask questions but also open up spaces.

“Why only” speaks of an inner struggle and the courage to think of new possibilities when old paths close. The melody always stays close - sensitive, melancholic, but never without hope.

A song for all those who have to let go in order to move on.
A sound that lingers - thoughtful, sincere and deeply human.

Long Fuzzy Train

My new piece based on a theme that surfaced when I was writting my resigned and dark Intermezzo, which in contrast, turned out to be one of the brighest and joyfull of my creations, very lively and bursting with vitality, almost reminding me of a spring flower that ascended from a damp graveyard.
This piece was probably the one I've written in the shortest amount of time,  majority of it written in a mere several hours.

Inspired by the poem "The Peace of Wild Things" by the American poet Wendall Berry.

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.
