The highlight of the year! After more than eight years, the time has finally come: Boris Brejcha, also known as the Joker, is releasing his 10th album on his own label, Fckng Serious.
Listeners and fans can look forward to a very special musical collection. The album, which will be released on all streaming and download services on April 19, 2024, includes a total of 17 tracks plus 3 long versions of the previously released edits.
Since 2022, Boris Brejcha has been releasing his music again on his own label, Fckng Serious. Already in 2023, Brejcha gave us a glimpse into the upcoming album. His singles "Level One," "Space X (Edit),“ „Vienna (Edit),“ and "Dimension" have already given us a taste of this diverse album. And even in the new year, there was a preview of the highlight of the year. Boris Brejcha received prominent support from singers Malena Narvay and Leony, among others.
It was very important to the Joker himself that the album provides a deep insight into his musical work: "My album promises to be a captivating blend of familiar and nostalgic sounds, offering listeners a delightful journey through my artistic career." "Level One" reflects my entire musical journey and encompasses a variety of songs that showcase my unmistakable style while simultaneously paying homage to my previous works.“ We at Fckng Serious are more than happy to be part of this masterpiece. The album "Level One" is an important milestone for Boris Brejcha and us as a label in our musical history. Juan Correa Lopez introduced his ALURIA alias in 2016 to create boundary-less electronic music, breaking the mould of tradition and striving for exploring the different. The Merlo (Buenos Aires, Argentina) born artist, and now currently based in Brooklyn (New York, USA), made appearances on many reputable imprints from the likes of Manual Music, Stripped Recordings & One of a Kind, to name a few. ALURIA made his debut on Juicebox Music in 2023 through the first edition of our Fables compilation with his single Precession and now he returns with two weapons: Mangos and Avocados, a deep & dubby yet heavy & twisted concoction and Lunchbox, a minimal & simple yet peak & wonky banger. Were thrilled to welcome back the São Paulo (Brazil) maestro - DNYO to the label to give ALURIAs Mangos and Avocados a go. As one of our core artists, Danny Oliveira made his first appearance on our imprint in 2019 with Flare / Children, following it up with Radiate / Closer Distance and Halcyon / Sensoria / Space Monk as well as contributing to our Tales of Time compilation with Little Samurai, DNYO is no stranger to our camp with his incredibly unique & intelligent approach to sound thats nearly impossible to imitate. Juicebox Music's 81st release sees fresh remixes by Jiminy Hop & EMPHI of Andrés Moris' iconic "The Story We Tell / The Choice" EP. With the originals releasing in the late autumn of 2023, it marked Andrés Moris' debut with the label. The Argentine native, now residing in Italy, created a special moment in his career with these two offerings and earned incredible support around the world, showcasing his perfect blend of emotional soundscapes and groove-focused rhythms.

We're excited to welcome back the incredibly talented Jiminy Hop to the fold after a long wait. His inaugural appearance on our imprint in 2021 through his single "Tension" as well as a monster 3-track EP featuring "Contemplation", "Desire" & "Summered" paved a path towards a rise in the progressive house fraternity. As one of the 3 members of the electronic band "Krasa Rosa", The Saint-Petersburg (Russia) resident has no boundaries towards his musical vision. Jiminy Hop's take on Andrés Moris' "The Story We Tell" pays homage to the spirit of the original track but his own style - expressing unique stories & visions through music.

- This is a collaboration with the Aussie musician, Peter Hayes = Tetrameth. The track was started in Byron Bay and we wrapped it up in Tel Aviv. It has one of the funkiest bass-lines I ever recorded. Pete recorded a pick scratching the guitar strings, tribal drum-breaks and brought us the genius sample alongside with some dark atmosphere pads. I remember actually sampling their bathroom trash can as a gong hit at some point :) It was a pleasure creating and an adventure collaborating with Pete for the 2nd time.

There is a very thin line between fiction and reality. The perceived convention of what a character, a person or an artist actually is, have diffused into one another until it is no longer significant to determine what is what. Roger Rabbit is no exception in this multiple and overlapping personas. He is a cartoon, an idea and a sonic adventure that decided to leap joyfully from one sphere to another in order to gain benefit from all worlds… Wouldn’t you?

In his more familiar formation, Roger Rabbit is known as Rotem Doron from Israel, and also in his other alias Toxical, a project he started together with Eli Abutbul. He started his psychedelic journey in an early age and explored his musical path by the burning energies of playing guitar and keyboard while getting insights of how to work in a studio. Back in 1999 he started to create full-onish pumping sounds that suited those times, and released the kick ass album Painting the Future as Toxical. After he matured in his field he decided to depart from Toxical, because he felt he wanted to go into the next level and challenge his expertise, and so Roger Rabbit was born; a Progressive Trance project that aims to preserve the essence of the energetic dance floor breaking fire he produced under Toxical but in a new, improved and innovative manner. His first EP Leading Rabbits was released in the Danish label Iboga and marked his musical transition, and transformation. His music has caught the attention of all the scene and he started playing in festivals such as Fusion festival (Germany), Poison festival (Mexico), Indigo Intuition (Australia), and Mystica festial (Switzerland). 

Roger Rabbit also attracted collaborations with other successful artists such as Lish, Egorythmia, Gaudium, Faders and Lifeforms. Naturally his craft also demanded some modulations and so he remixed artists such as Egorythmia & E-Clip, Drama, Behind Blue Eyes & Krusseldorf. With an impressive armor of releases from Iono Music, Iboga records and YSE he is always on the move for the next dimension… So, join the ride!
