After the much loved 'Just Cruising' EP from dr. 1more, we put out the feelers and got back a diverse pair of remixes from 2 of our Ambious family members. Kicking it off is KVRVBO, hailing from Johannesburg - South Africa with his remix of 'Sunday Blues'. A solid slow paced groover, perfect for an early set. Next up is Ambious co-founder MKLY, picking up the vibe with a more progressive and uplifting take on the track, beautiful melodies and a big grinding bassline, sure to go down a treat on any dance-floor.

DR. 1MORE - Sunday Blues (KVRVBO Remix)

Karabo Moloi better known as @kvrvbo, a Graphic Design graduate and music producer from a small township known as Duduza, Ekurhuleni (East Rand).

Karabo started DJing in the year 2005 later shifted into making music, playing around with music making software. As a producer he has released and collaborated with a number of artists including, New York based Groove Addix, Sean Grasty and Stephanie Lange, The BLVCK Chynese and Rephlex just to name a few.

In 2012 he was appointed as a resident DJ for a local club in Tsakane, playing alongside some of the best names in the game like DJ Fresh, Euphonik, DJ Kent, DJ Picat, Jullian Gomes, Black Coffee and the list is endless but later had to quit the DJ life to pursue his dream of being a Graphic Designer. Even though he quit DJing, making music was still at heart and continued to work with a few local artists which later resulted in a few releases under Stay True Sounds and a few labels in
the US.

KVRVBO looks forward to working with a few local artists and release some nice tunes to vibe to.

We have a massive remix package of Continuum's Xpress. Addex is  back with a deep, serious remix here. A thumping bass line intertwines with the booming, crackling drums work. Sprinkles of vocal loops, clicks and blips dance in and out the track with Addex's signature sound throughout. Forteba slows it down a bit with a chugging deep house rendition. The drums are dusty, as if they were ripped straight from a vinyl record. The pads are warm, ebbing like a gentle hot springs pool. Forteba wraps up with a vocal stab and synths from the original track. Katelanos takes his version even slower for a nice Slow House version. This would be a great opener for any set. There's a minimal drum approach here and for good reason. Katelanos adds a lovely piano lead to this mix which breathes even more emotion into the track. This is a remix package that has something for everyone. It needs to be in your crate. Play It Loud!
