Hailing from London, Rogue Star is one third of the unit that is Urban Collective with cohorts D-Man and H.O.D. Together they run the labels: Urban Graffiti and Mata–Syn.

With his roots stemming from Jungle/Drum and Bass as a DJ in 1995, Rogue Star made the transition to UK Garage in 2000 as an MC/producer and later progressed to what was later to be known as Dubstep. Since that time he has performed across the globe alongside artists like; Reso, The Others, Caspa, Rusko, Blu Mar Ten, London Elektricity and Tes La Rok, to name a few.He has also had releases of his productions out on various record labels within the Dubstep scene, including: Paradise Lost, Z-Audio and an appearance on the Wu Tang "Enter the Dubstep" compilation. 

Taking a wide variety of musical influences and his love of Sci Fi, he displays these elements in each production and the varying styles within them.

While Bart Knol is mainly focused on instrumental and composition aspects of music making, Durk Kooistra has a background in sound design and rather makes an instrument than playing one. Together they explore mixing organic sounds with heavily processed sounds in a accessible style. Rather aiming to make dance then look interesting.
