The first of our single release series, this one coming from Rogue Cuts founder @reclusebeats. The aim here is to bring free download tracks from friends and affiliates of the Rogue Cuts party, to give people a better idea of what the DJ's are creating and playing.

The track 'Molten' is a refreshed demo from Recluse from back in 2017 when he released an EP with club label Knightwerk. Glossy synths interweave with banging percussion work, ready for use in any club setting.

Quest?onmarc contributes to CLUB CHAI with a six track EP titled ‘Phoenix’. Following a string of impressive self releases that have been heard on dance floors internationally, ‘Phoenix’ ponders experiences of a new touring artist and their experiences beyond the club. Themes of duality, persistence and rebirth guide the listener through with sonic references to Grime, Jersey Club and Ballroom. Questonmarc’s subversion of regional club references are imbued with non western instrumentation such as Duduk and Dhol drums, carving out a narrative and sound that feels mellow, manic, and meditative all at once. ‘Phoenix’ encapsulates Quest?onmarc’s quintessential sound, effortlessly hybridizing seemingly disparate genres, colliding them and burning it down to birth something entirely new.

In this day and age, information emerges from every direction, and is freely distributed. In fact, the speed of this circulation process is accelerating on an almost daily basis. With the newly created system, they can fully regulate digital information. High-level information can be categorized in stages, given clearance levels, and deleted as necessary, never to be seen by the public. 

How much of a human being is defined by the genes? How much of a human being is defined by information?

In the current, digitized world, trivial information is accumulating every second, preserved in all its triteness. Never fading, always accessible. Rumors about petty issues, misinterpretations, slander. All this junk data preserved in an unfiltered state, growing at an alarming rate. It will only slow down social progress, reduce the rate of evolution.

Memes and all the information that comes to us through culture and socialization to lead us to a certain way of thinking and being. The strategy to generate a context consists, not so much in censoring information, but in creating an excess of information in our digital life that serves to slow down social progress.

En la actualidad, la información emerge de todas las direcciones y se distribuye libremente. De hecho, la velocidad de este proceso de circulación se acelera casi a diario. Con el sistema recién creado, pueden regular completamente la información digital. La información de alto nivel se puede clasificar en etapas, niveles de autorización dados y eliminarse según sea necesario, para que el público nunca la vea.

En el mundo digitalizado actual, la información trivial se acumula cada segundo, preservada en toda su trivialidad. Nunca se desvanece, siempre accesible. Rumores sobre pequeños asuntos, malas interpretaciones, calumnias. Todos estos datos basura se conservan en un estado sin filtrar, creciendo a un ritmo alarmante. Solo ralentizará el progreso social, reducirá la tasa de evolución.

Los memes y toda la información que nos llega a través de la cultura y la socialización nos llevan a una cierta forma de pensar y ser. La estrategia para generar un contexto consiste, no tanto en censurar la información, sino en crear un exceso de información en nuestra vida digital que sirva para frenar el progreso social.

Following appearances on NTS and Internet Public Radio, TT are proud to present Xterea’s debut Mystique Messenger.

Characterised by a shock-proof layering of sound and cascading rhythms, Xterea’s productions swarm the stereo field with a disorienting depth.

Demanding the listener’s focus via a dynamic vocal sample from the onset, 707 announces itself with obscured speech fragments flitting around a convulsing central pillar. Matching a muted, frosty synth with heavy drums, Mystique’s looped refrain sets the listener in the centre of a dizzying time lapse. Escape clues are offered via blinking fluctuations in tone and key.

As if gathering strength from the previous tracks, Awe’s hollowed introduction evaporates to reveal the steaming and chaotic ornamentation at its core. Thunderous kick patterns create a synchronous gravitational map; steering listeners away from the path of the approaching tempest.
