A song I wrote in the Shona language. It's actually a prayer: Verse: "There are sick people in the hospitals, There are others, sick in their homes." Chorus: "Hear their cries Lord, Lord please answer the prayers that they pray." Verse 2: "There are those who are having a hard time, they don't have a place to live. There are those who are sad, they lost their loved ones." Verse 3: "There are those who have lost their peace, their faith is now weak, please send them preachers of the word to encourage them."

(My relatives are perishing in this home)

(The others are hitting the road, leaving this home)

Musha uno rangove dongo
(This home is now a deserted empty space)
Tumirai vatsvene vandipewo chandingabata
(Please send the saints so they can give me something that can sustain me)

Verse 2:
Gore rino hatina kumbo kohwa, pamusha pano
(This year we had a very bad harvest, at this home)
Mbeu yose yakapiswa nezuva, pamusha pano
(the entire crop was hit by a bad drought and the hot sun, at this home)

Chorus 2:
Musha uno unoda ruoko rwenyu Ishe
(This home needs your hand Lord)
Huyai musiki mutipewo makomborerero
(Come Oh Lord and give us your blessings)

Munondisesedza pamvura ino zorodza
(You lead me by the still waters)
