For their inaugural flight, Magic Bird coaxes left-of-centre master, Golden Fleece, into sacrificing two glittering, intergalactic originals for the label's first outing, alongside a road-tested Balearic bomb of an edit to close it out.

Having made dynamic, trip-inducing dance music for a number of years on the likes of Eskimo, Redux and Mixed Blood Cuts, Golden Fleece kicks off his Magic Bird journey with, 'Keep Doin' It'. Marrying bongo led drum loops with a subby rolling bassline and cosmic echoes, this infectious opener is a killer slab of synthesised goodness.

Picking up the pace, 'Schapelle's Boogie' bathes listeners in space-age sweeps and reverberating guitar struts, all tied together by a hypnotic bass arp and slick percussion. Chuggy dancefloor salutations from Golden's parallel universe.

Closing out the EP Golden Fleece unleashes a certified slammer of an edit in the form of 'I Love U2'. A psychedelic early '90s trip, with one of the best lead basslines you're ever likely to hear, reworked and retweaked into a DJ friendly Balearic whirlwind.
