<p>Tronic supremo Christian Smith and Brazil&#8217;s Wehbba have been busy creating a series of innovative single releases together that will be known as the &#8220;Passion Over Fashion - Trilogy&#8221;. In a perfect storm meeting of musical minds these two maestros have come together in the studio on a creative high after their recent, individual, critically acclaimed artist albums - &#8220;Omakase&#8221; and &#8220;Square Two&#8221;.Given that they have remixed a number of huge, high profile releases together in recent times - Funk D&#8217;Void&#8217;s classic &#8220;Diabla&#8221;; Laurent Garnier&#8217;s &#8220;Flashback&#8221; and Bushwacka&#8217;s &#8220;Westside&#8221; - it seems amazing that this is the first time that they have worked on a series of original tracks together!Has the wait been worth it? Across the releases, Christian Smith and Wehbba explore and innovate to an exceptionally high standard, creating 6 huge dancefloor moments that respectfully touch base with influences drawn from the likes of Detroit Techno, Chicago Acid House and 80&#8217;s Hi-Nrg. Chapeleiro, Junior Vieira - Brawn (Original Mix)

After a storming 2014 with releases on VIVA, Quartz and Snatch Off, ONNO is back with his first EP for 2015 on Adam Beyer's acclaimed Truesoul label. For this 3 track EP, ONNO explores the more techno focussed part of his sound, while retaining that bottom heavy, hip hop inspired groove that he is renowned for. 

The title track, aptly named "Techno Jam" kicks off proceedings with a bang. Straight up heavy techno beats are broken up by a processed vocal snippet before bringing everything back full force. On the flipside we find “Come On”. For this track, ONNO follows a less-is-more approach, focussing on just one hypnotizing melody line and blending this with a looped hip-hop vocal to create a dancefloor cut. Digital only track “Breakbeat Bats” completes the package with some analog synths and heavy 909 rides. All in all, this is essential stuff.
