This week on Psylicious Radio we welcome the radiance of Yellow Sunshine Explosion Records, who join us for this label showcase and the launch of their next VA compilation “GOA Volume 75” compiled by label DJ based in the UK, Psykinetic. Out on the 18th June 2021.

PSYKINETIC is undeniably talented and devoted to his music and started to DJ back in 1988 when raves just started to get established.
With over 30 years DJ-ing and involvement in the party scene Neil’s passion and respect for music is clearly reflected and evident through his unique and creative style of mixing and track selection.
Neil has just signed to Y.S.E (Yellow Sunshine Explosion Recordings) as a Label DJ and is looking forward to what the future brings in 2021.

SOLAR SENSE (MX)
Is the new project formed by Carlos Alejo A.K.A. Mind Sense & Eduardo Litosh A.K.A. Solar Walker.
It is mainly influenced by musical genres such as Psytrance, Progressive Trance, Goa Trance among others and launched their debut EP entitled ¨Voice Of The Future¨ under the Yellow Sunshine Explosion label and placing in the Top 100 of the best Beatport releases of 2020.

ORISMA (GR)
Orisma, Dj & Producer currently at Yellow Sunshine Explosion Recordings, born in Greece on November 1988 in his home town Thessaloniki.
2015 saw "birth" of his own solo project "ORISMA". 7th August of 2015 the track "Orisma - Lost Reality" was the track that got Orisma to start working with the well recognised label "Yellow Sunshine Explosion Recordings"!
Orisma has performed for dance-floors all over Europe and his next Step is to take his music to different corners around the world. The future will see countless listeners continue thrilled and spellbound by his own work!!!

Over the past year, we’ve curated a 20 track digital compilation, that are a direct reflection of the music we live and breathe, together with artists we admire and who inspire us.

THRAXEN is a sonic exploration that blurs the lines between ambient, techno, trance, progressive trance, tribal and more.

All proceeds from this release will be donated to Tirsdagsgruppen, an NGO dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to those affected by the conflict in Palestine.

Single Vision is Vishal Sabnani from Bombay (Currently residing in Dubai).
Having discovered Psychedelic trance through his first Goa Gil cassette in 2002, he was drawn to the mystical side of psychedelic sounds. Having explored a mini paradise inspired from the beautiful tunes on the beaches of Goa, from the age of 19 he started playing and experimenting in various Sub-genres of Psychedelic trance (Dark and Twilight) at local Clubs and shacks in Goa.
His journey through psychedelic music took him from experimenting unique styles and finally into the deeper morning intelligent sounds of Psychedelic trance.
Relocating back to Dubai where he was born, he was taken aback with the energy of the psychedelic trance community “Ravelations” – Dubai’s premiere psychedelic music portal. In the few years after finding himself and understanding his purpose, his passion was re-invigorated. Fascinated by uplifting progressive and Full-on psychedelic sounds, he soon discovered that he was able to process his emotions and thoughts, to form dynamic and catchy tunes, that without a doubt, conquer dance floors!
Presenting melodic grooves with strong and oscillating basslines that may result in an exceptional transition set, always transforming and defining the dance floor personality. Well Known for his diverse well-structured sets, immaculate track selections and advanced mixing skills, Single vision delivers a perfect balance of power and flow. A true believer in the classic concept of “The Set as a Journey”.
Single Vison’s music can be described as “An Intelligent progressive journey into full-on psychedelic sounds”, a euphoric journey into the psychedelic experience filled with powerful bass-lines, highly energetic rhythms, soaring atmospheres and uplifting melodies that will keep any dance floor grooving.
At Festival’s, Single Vision has expanded his vision and is usually slotted for the sun set slot or daylight to evening by transitioning the music from progressive into full on psychedelic sounds, so as to what the Dance Floor personality asks for. He has even received amazing recognition and feedback even on Online portals such as SoundCloud. Some of the countries he has played are Goa (India), Nepal, Thailand, Morocco, Turkey and Portugal to name a few. He has played alongside GMS, Talamasca, Electric Universe, Liquid Soul, Space tribe, Mad Maxx, Avalon, Laughing Buddha, Burn In noise, E-clip, Logic Bomb, Juno Reactor, Imaginarium, Relativ, Sideform,Mad tribe ,Dickster ,Earthling , Sonic Species , Regan ,Mad tribe ,Tristan and Chicago just few of the artists he has played alongside with who also happen to be a part of his favorite list .

SAAI MINI VORTEX - 27FEB21 - PSY PROG:TRANCE

It’s near impossible for anyone who regularly frequents outdoor festivals / events in the (+27) SA area code to be unfamiliar, whether by knowledge or hearsay, with the near iconic name SAAI.
A constant and ever present figure in one way or another, be it knowledge or hearsay, since embracing the PSY- Culture in 2003. Her versatility in sounds and track selection combined with an excellent eye for reading the floor, has made her an almost indispensable slot to ensure the success of a line-up.
From humble beginnings as a regular djane at Getafix to gracing the stages of South Africas top Psytrance Productions including Alien Safari, Nano Origin, Vortex, as well as further inland to Johannesburg and Mozamboogy. Her love for all things green and outdoorsy ensures her strong support and following up the Garden Route as well. 
Saai branched out to the techno scene to expand her craft with the same approach she did psytrance, feeling her audience out over sticking to a tracklist. A firm believer of energy  and intention, she has inspired many young producers to embrace their talents and fuel them with passion. Known for her extensive music collection spanning across genres and BPM, the harmonic melodies she weaves into her event opening performances can metamorphasize into dirty filthy baselines and drops in a single swipe of the cross fader, theres no timeslot she cant play.  
Saai's following has grown steadily over the years, mainly  due to this artists belief that to play for a dancefloor one must understand a dancefloor, it's dynamics, and the journey needed to guide the patrons in the right Psy way. Every dancefloor is different,  Saai is one of very few artists who can always be found both pre and post set, in the middle of the crowd dancing hard and giving it horns, in not only support for her fellow artists but method research to enable a smooth crossover wherever she finds herself on the line-up.
