 DoubleDrop was lucky to have been constantly involved in the party scene from a very early age. He was brought up listening to the acid house scene that dominated the late 80s and early 90s. He was frowned upon in his younger years for always walking around with tape packs and big headphones on.. that later changed as he became involved in the underground rave scene back in 2005 and found a passion for Hard Trance and Psy.

﻿He soon became a household name in warehouse’s, barns and fields playing on sound systems up and down the UK, bringing his broad spectrum of musical knowledge to the table and using that to keep his sets so unpredictable and full on.

﻿ ​﻿​“I can never beat the pleasure I receive from dropping a tune and seeing people smile and run to the stack shouting lets 'avit!”​

DoubleDrop then began playing for well known organisers from the likes of Project Storm, Karma Industries and Surge Sound Sytems in the depths of the "Coven 2" in Oxford and Carbon nightclub, super secret shindig events at the coronet in London, and holding residency for bionic movement hall parties hosted in his home town and plays a regular Radio slot.

﻿This guy is definitely one to watch across the underground scene! big basslines, story telling melodies and minimalistic leftfield synths...

Denise alias «wayofdk» ist in der Progressive- und Psytrance-Szene in der DACH-Region nicht nur mit ihrem Podcast «Trance Talk» bekannt, sondern mit ihrem DJane-Projekt auch für treibenden Progressive Trance und energetischen Prog-Sound. Was einst als persönlicher Psytrance-Blog begann, entwickelte sich zu ihrem erfolgreichen Podcast, der weit über die Grenzen des Clubs hinaus eine Plattform für die Szene bietet.

2022 erweiterte Denise ihr Schaffen mit ihrem DJ-Projekt, mit dem sie ihre musikalische Botschaft und Energie direkt auf die Tanzflächen bringt. Am 2. Mai 2025 feierte sie mit ihrem Debüt-Release «Spiritual Awakening» einen bedeutenden Meilenstein und setzt damit ein neues kreatives Kapitel in ihrer musikalischen Reise.

Innerhalb weniger Jahre hat Denise den Sprung auf die Bühnen renommierter Festivals und internationaler Clubs geschafft, darunter unter anderem das legendäre Bootshaus in Köln, der Club Schlaflos in der Schweiz, der Proton Club in Stuttgart oder das Edelfettwerk in Hamburg.

«Du kannst in anderen nur entzünden, was selber in dir brennt» – dieses Motto ist mehr als ein Leitsatz; es ist der Kern von Denise‘ künstlerischem Ausdruck. Ihre Sets versieht sie mit einer individuellen Handschrift, die nicht nur das Publikum mitreißt, sondern auch ihre Liebe zur Musik spürbar macht.

Mit ungebremster Energie, einem tiefen Verständnis für die Psytrance-Kultur und ihrer Gabe, das Publikum immer wieder aufs Neue zu begeistern, ist Denise nicht nur eine gefragte DJane, sondern inspiriert als Persönlichkeit in der Goa-Szene.
