"Embrace"

Hello friends! Welcome to my very first mix + set! This mix is the story of my journey through the past couple years of my life, through its ups and downs. This mix will start off with soft melodic beats that slowly progress into heavier sounding bass and dubstep. And, for a good portion of the set, there will be a constant push and pull between melodic tunes and heavier, angry dubstep drops.

This mix has been so long in the making since I kept saying I would start mixing and it kept getting delayed. I started mixing because I realized I liked being able to hear different vocals with different instrumentals. I also always felt like music was created to resonate with emotions, and to me at the time, melodic bass house/dubstep definitely had me in tune with my emotions.

I'm sure that everyone has had some kind of history in the past when they are met with hardships; and whether that was emotional, relationship, or even personal/family hardships, we are still here today and I think that's all that really matters.

I've titled this mix "Embrace" because I want y'all to know that no matter how difficult it was in the past, you overcame it. All the good and bad things that have happened in the past all have a meaning and play a part in how it shaped you into who you are today, so embrace it.

I've drawn inspiration from my own hardships and hopefully this mix will portray the emotional roller coaster ride that I've been on. I invite you to come along for the ride cause it'll be a good one! Enjoy

Ghost in the mirror

MUSIC FOR ADHD AUDIENCES-  I hate boring, normal and conventional. Imagine Prefuse 73 , Pearl Jam, Deftones, Lil peep and DJ Shadow stuck in an elevator for days. The result would be this. Improbable productions for impertubable minds. If you don't get it, that's ok,  Ihave  never ever chased fame nor taken anything personal.
