Danny DJ’d for several years in Tenerife & London at a number of clubs & bars, then in his mid-twenties began producing, feeling more drawn to the complexity of production than performing, releasing dozens of E.P.s in some good labels, most notably under the moniker Ynnad Zeugnimod and his own label, De La Casa Records.

And he had immediate success as his debut release on PPM ‘Ol Dirty Blades’ shot to number one worldwide on the Juno Download Disco chart and the Hypeddit Disco chart.

Born in 1975, Danny grew up influenced on a huge variety of genres including; Salsa and Reggae, (both loved in Tenerife.) Spanish 80s Pop, Funk, Disco, Rap, Brazilian and African music of many genres, Jazz, Heavy Metal and Punk.

A key quality in B4ck To L1fe’s productions is his vast taste & knowledge in music, allowing him to deliver a variety of songs from many different genres & tempos & a dizzying array & clever use of percussion, brass & instrumental. His raw talent shines through.

And that can be seen with his stunning debut release in June for PuzzleProjectsMusic; ‘Ol’ Dirty Blades’ (Óyela). Released across three formats including club, dub & vocal versions, the release is a textbook example of his natural ability to work multiple genres into his productions. On paper, it shouldn’t work together, but he achieves it in style.

Following the global success of‘Ol’ Dirty Blades’ (Óyela), B4ck To L1fe returns to PuzzleProjectsMusic with ‘Scenes,’ a three-track EP that takes in filter disco, block-rocking beats and a sultry 80s rework that would have made Prince go weak at the knees.

dj Eddie S The Dancing DJ real name is Eddie Stevens, born in Harlem, raised in the Bronx and settled in Brooklyn since 1998 is one the most passionate, intense and up and coming disc jockeys in the New York City area today in 2010. His passion for music stems far back as playing drums and congas at the age of 5 years old. Influenced primarily by Jazz, Afro-Cuban Jazz, R&B and Classic Rock and a hint of World Music, his ear for music has developed his appreciation of various types of music of various cultures.
As an advent student of music, he played and read sheet during his school years as a percussionist in the late 70’s. He grew a strong appetite spinning records (vinyl) with two turntables, heavily influenced to DJ by the beginning era of Hip Hop. At the age of 12, he began to collect 12” LP records. Soon after his hip hop phase, the sounds of Disco Classics became appealing to his ear and eventually, HOUSE MUSIC had evolved. Dj Eddie S fell head over heels in love with the combination of Disco Classics and House Music in the mid to late 80’s. He attended as a regular to clubs like, The Loft, Paradise Garage, Club Zanzibar (NJ) and then later, the Shelter in the early 90’s that influenced to him to keep spinning dance music. Years later he help founded a four man party entity called “Men Of Rhythm Entertainment” a.k.a. M.O.R.E. in year of 2000 to 2003 that was based in Brooklyn, New York. Men Of Rhythm Entertainment played at various small clubs and local bars in Brooklyn as well as Manhattan. After Men Of Rythm Entertainment (and yes, Rhythm was spelled without the letter “H”) dj Eddie S played for several clubs independently as well as collaborated with a few other DJ’s for a few years in between. 
Finally, dj Eddie S “The Dancing DJ” has decided to start his own dance party named 33 1/3 Dance Party in April 2008. He currently continues to promote dance music in its truest form. 33 1/3 Dance Party attracts older and newer listeners; known as club heads he calls “Family”. dj Eddie S was a bi-monthly resident at the legendary Frank’s Cocktail Lounge until July 2009 and he had held a monthly residence as a winter dance party at the Five Spot Soul Food Restaurant til October 2010. Both parties originated in Brooklyn, New York. 
He has been successful spreading the “word of mouth” to the dance community promoting 33 1/3 Dance Party and his number of patrons are continually growing from all aspects of music listeners and cultures of today’s various dance party attendees. His ultimate goals are to keep promoting house music and, collaborate with various dance party entities and their DJ’s, media companies, initiate fundraisers and eventually, do production work with musicians and various vocalist.
