Beautiful sonic sorcery from Cristi Cons and DeWalta. 
Elegant, warm, subtle but energetic music, creating a momentum of infinity. Our favorit Romanian artist known for his productions, his quality Amphia label, a:rpia:r as well as his SIT project with Vlad Caia teams up with DeWalta from Berlin who continues to refine his output on Meander. These two kindred spirits met at DeWaltas studio to create a spaced-out musical treatment, captivating body and mind. Lisa Milloy, joined the creative process, adding beautifully flowing words, recorded in one take as stream of conciousness. Breath in and dance to their melodies with a clever groove that just flows onwards. With the record Basorelief, released in 2014 Meander already introduced the greatly talented Cristi Cons to its circle. Now these two artists, bringing Bucharest and Berlin further together, deliver a hightly anticipated follow-up with this record filled with rhythmic material for the space between.

Tape throb, this is "is an attempt to get to a time in electronic music, where everything sounds warmer", explains the Irish producer Andrew Morrison known as Buz Ludzha (aka @the-cyclist). His newest EP "Basslines for life" contains four wobbled and multilayered tracks entwisting cassette textures, blown-out bass and warehouse rhythm. One of it, "Vibradreams", was already premiered in Boiler Room Debuts. The EP is out today on well-loved LA label @100percentsilk and we're exclusively streaming "Basslines for Life". Jam out!

Dubtil’s debut for Amphia comes in line with the previous 10 releases’ tagline: tailoring new musical perspectives into the multidimensional universe of electronic music.

The opener "Indoiala" sticks into our brains with its slow decaying voices, pitched down to embrace the devilishly simple percussion. Keeping the same eerie approach to his idea of dancefloor oriented loops, Dubtil completes Side A with "Alta Schema", another typical kick-led experience enveloped into a more haunting bassline. Bearing a deep house DNA yet not losing contact with the dancefloor energy through its breaks pattern, Side B’s "Repet Slap Repet" opens the gates to the abstract structure of "Contrar", an apparently chaotic contiguity of weird samples, glued to each other by the minimalistic bassline.

Jumping from one genre to another, confronting dusty preconcieved ideas just to turn them into a fresh sound: Dubtil’s imagination fountain is far from getting dry! We now have the tangible proof.

From the outset of his musical journey, Sydney’s Mac Harrison has been an astute and discerning digger, fostering his love for vinyl through plenty of booth experience, informing both his process and output. The BeAvantGarde resident has played a pivotal role in pushing the forward-thinking boundaries of Sydney’s underground music scene. The bills on which he has  appeared - both locally and more recently on the European circuit - are certainly testament to an artist in command of his craft. louís’ constantly developing musical sound can be defined by an openness and intrigue, both of which are heavily noted in his musical selection.
