"The Disco Fiend Club mix series powered by the Nocturnal Hazard record label returns with it's second mix with a very special guest, music friend and forthcoming artist of our record labels Hiatt DB from the Razor N Tape and Rhythm Section fame. The Texan young gun is a fearless DJ, music producer and record collector characterized for his mature taste for music playing and producing top-notch spaced-out discofied stuff with remarkable adult oriented rock and balearic influences on his music productions and DJ sets. He also runs his own edit label Discognosis that recently released it's first record including four solid disco cuts edited by the man himself. We're pleased to have two forthcoming edits produced by Hiatt on our main record label Nocturnal Hazard and on it's new sub-label Psychic Disco for it's first V.A four-track debut release. For this occasion, Hiatt provided us an one hour mix with a outstanding balearic discofied music selection of peak-time hidden gems including his forthcoming tune on our forthcoming Psychic Disco label and also his stuff released on his own imprint back in April of this year. Their sound covers a lot of ground, from the weird and the wonderful to the best in dance floor business; moving through Reggae, Street Soul, Boogie, Disco, House and everything in between.

On the mix...

We're both big hip-hop fans and have been for years but it's not something we typically play that much in our sets. We'd also had this idea of making a mix in the style of the radio stations you in the Grand Theft Auto games kicking around for a while and with the series being called Stan Radio this seemed like a good opportunity to combine the two things and do it. It's something a bit different from the usual mix format and hopefully people will dig it. Buckle up and enjoy the ride!

Zum Einen weil es schon eine ganze Menge obskurer Musik gibt, die sich mit dem Thema Umweltzerstörung/schutz beschäftigt und zum Anderen, weil uns nicht zuletzt die Situation im Danni gerade mal wieder vor Augen führt, wie beschissen wenig Umweltklimaoderwasauchimmerschutz zählt, wenn er gegen kommerzielle Interessen abgewogen wird. Wir spielen daher nicht nur Musik sondern auch kurze Statements von Freunden in der Show zu diesem Thema.
