I was amongst the underaged girls who forged their parental guardians signature to go on 106&Park. I also had my brother who worked with production. I was presented as a princess to the talent and warned not to fuck with 😂. Super embarrassing but it established a respect I otherwise would have had to prove worthy of. Behind the scenes was the real show time. The prep time, the coaching and the rehursing excited me more than the show. To follow hood instructions and get good reward seemingly instantly excited me. I could tell earlier on these people were different, they were chosen. They were blessed by God. Or so I thought. I’ve seen some dark stuff happened, but I also witnessed miracles so there are players from both sides of the field. In the end I believe I held onto all this knowledge I gained not just to see a star but to apply it to my own life and be one as well. I tried to get somebody else to do it and got frustrated with their lack of motivation. Lack of seriousness for the skill. Lack of love and joy for the fun qualities of creation. I’m here to live my life as I should’ve, as me. Not a CartéA-ish version distorted by who I was before, what they thought I would be, or who they want me to be…. Just me.
