He developed his very unique taste at the age of 17 and eventually moved to the historical birthplace of classical music - Vienna, Austria in order to pursue his dream of becoming a music producer.

Catalin Chifan, aka VERN(RO), is a DJ and producer of house through deep grooves and minimalistic sounds. VERN's musical storytelling is outstanding, characterized by heavy basslines and vibrant rhythms. He enjoys experimenting without limits, which is easily visible in his works. 

Catalin made his debut with a vinyl release for Re:face in 2019.
