Today we celebrate the Winter Solstice in the Northern hemisphere. A time of year where we have the longest of nights followed by shortest of days. In many ancient cultures this marks the symbolic death and rebirth of the sun and for many of us this midwinter day represents a shift, the end of a cycle and beginning of a new one, where we're going towards brighter times.

We'd like to host our celebration and final chapter of the Navigare Audio podcast for 2021 together with our dear friend and brother NESS from Italy. Visualize yourself barefoot on the psychedelic dancefloor together with your friends, turn on the volume and tune in to this set from this years edition of Modem Festival.

Icelandic minimal-techno producer SAMWISE started his musical journey in Amsterdam where he studied audio engineering at SAE. 

After multiple releases which spoke for themselves; SAMWISE joined Amsterdam based Minitech Recordings as one of their first to the label. It wasn’t too long before his sound made it to the booth of Richie Hawtin at boiler room.

After residing in Amsterdam & gigging across Europe, today, SAMWISE found himself back in Reykjavík where he founded “VOLUME” which is their main electronic music entity on his home soil. 
 
I’ve had the pleasure of working with SAMWISE at ADE and also a few Livestream events for clubbing tv all powered by MINITECH RECORDINGS where we also share releases together.  
Fun Fact... SAMWISE & I also share the same birthday, Feb12th!  Happy Birthday again my friend....

His sound is powerful, along with this set, which I hope you enjoy…

Enrique Mejia Pérez, born on October 29, 2000 in Huauchinango Puebla, is a minimal techno/ Psytech project that was born with the first name Scorpio and that, thanks to the improvements in its productions, decided to evolve, changed its nickname and thanks to the help of its brother Abel a beat got the new nickname called zipacyuhualle which means harmonic darkness.

Martin Kinrus is a musician, producer and DJ, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His passion for music began at an early age, appreciating, composing and letting himself become influenced by various genres. Over the years, he discovered electronic sounds and was fascinated by them, feeling impelled to take on the hard task of becoming a producer, and turn that, which started as a hobby, into his life goal.
Attracted by dark grooves and hypnotic ambients, Martin is always trying to incorporate these elements into his own productions and DJ Sets, obtaining a unique and personal sound, with which he tries to distinguish himself to this day.
