When Mario was growing up in California's rural Sacramento Valley, Spanish rooted music was part of the cultural landscape. His music career began when he was just 10. Mario's style incorporates all the music he likes-- European classical, Brazilian bossa nova, with a touch of flamenco, jazz, pop and rock. Mario cites Andres Segovia and Jose Feliciano as his major influences.

Mario has been in demand for corporate and private events in Southern California for the past 17 years. As the band leader of "The Boomer Show with Brian Christie" for five seasons, Mario received national recognition and airplay throughout the United States.
