“I woke up one morning with a melody in my head. I had dreamt it and I was so afraid of forgetting it that I grabbed my phone and recorded it immediately. Technology has its uses, after all. It was such a gorgeous melody that I felt the need… no, I felt the urge to finish it. So I sent my horrible phone recording with my 7 am singing voice to Torbjørn and asked him if he would like to work on that song I had just dreamt of. When he replied to me saying that he liked the idea, I was over the moon with joy! I truly admire his music so I knew something good was in store for this song. But I never imagined it could get this good! I was so incredibly surprised when he came up with such an amazing instrumental track. He definitely took it to the next level. That melody I had dreamt of is now the chorus of ‘Without You.’ I hope you enjoy it.” Jime.-

When Jonnie showed me the first chords of “True” I didn’t even take the time to reply to him that I had felt “love at first listen” with it, because I just had the urge to record the melody for the verses that had instantaneously appeared in my mind. I had to capture that idea before it escaped me for good. I love it when that happens. Instant inspiration. That’s the effect a great song has on me.  
I feel truly blessed that Jonnie still wants to write songs with me because I admire his creative mind so much and I love being able to take part in the process until the song is finished. “True” is our latest collaboration and one of my favorite songs so far.
