'David Hasert is giving ‚The Answer‘ to everybody’s seek for great music. The new EP is genuinely covering most favourable styles of the sound the scene currently presents. ‚The Answer‘ in the original mix is an old school manner sample based breakbeat piece. The rhythmic and soulful character is even more underlined by the blues guitar and Japanese voice sample. ‚My love‘ is a rough cracking and noisy track still carrying and gullibly enchanting atmosphere. The intensively flanged noises, strong cuts, rarely used voice samples and dreamy chime are a composition of opposing elements creating a great suspense curve. Finally did the uprising talent Sandilé throw in two remixes of ‚The Answer‘. The ‚Casual 130 BPM Remix‘ is a fast forward techno track with a simmering kick, harsh hihats and a touch of metallic industrial. Her ‚Ultra House Remix‘ is the reaction to more and more upcoming ghetto house using banging drums, emotive atmos and a funky bassline as well as funky keys. Enjoy it or drop it.'

Rydim is a mystery. Well, partly… One thing that isn’t a mystery is the high level of acid house authenticity at play here. Dark, heads-down strobe light seduction with the focus squared firmly on the soul of the dance. 

‘FOMO’ lives up to its name thanks to some ominous reese craft. Purring savagely throughout the track, leaving space for the sinewy 303s to dance wildly, it sucks you right in and spits you back out into the lasers at speed. Miss it, miss out. 

Don’t miss either Johannes Albert’s remix or the Bass Tool either; the former maintains the acid but re-shapes the bass into a warmer vibe while the latter strips everything back to that growing, heated bassline. Both will leave everyone in the house happy… 

Finally we have ‘Fairlight’. A homage to the mother of all samplers? That’s another mystery to solve. But we do know it’s another beauty from Ridym; naked beats and bass with crucial pads woven in for optimum breath-takes, every rush any dancer has ever felt since the 80s is saluted and celebrated right here. Rydim is a dancer…
