I started off listening to trance through a few Radio stations back in the 90’s which inspired me into mixing trance music for several years on Sound lab DLP’s then onto the Techy 1200’s I then progressed to Numark axis 9 for my first sample of digital before going onto CDJ’s around 2006, still playing classic trance vinyl and plenty of uplifting and driving modern day trance. Amateur vinyl DJ, learning as I go along as a hobby. I've had a passion for dance music since the early 90s and learnt how to mix on vinyl and CDJs at house parties before and around the millennium. Then work and growing up got in the way, so I stopped. I love the sound and feel of vinyl, the rawness to it when DJing, so I decided to buy myself some turntables and a mixer again in early 2022 and started again, so these mixes are far from perfect but fun to do! Mainly mixing trance/Prog/House/Commercial stuff from the late 90s and early 2000s. None of the music is my own, just the mixing.

Speed is a US Florida native who grew up NYC tri-state area and took on a liking to Trance at an early age of his youthful years. He got his first pair of decks at 16 and would travel to Satellite records shop in Manhattan to get releases he heard on his pc. As time went on he grew a passion for his art in turntable beat matching and was inspired by the likes of the well-known big artists in the genre of Progressive, Trance, & Breaks. Later on, SpeedRising met up with Richard Sander the label boss of Saturn3 Records where Richard signed Speed's first track, Rouge City.
